靠近海邊，員工非常熱心，介紹周圍景色同房間設備。房間亦很舒服，有暖氣同煮食用具。 在這裏住了一晚，望住海感覺好舒服。 不過離Town遠少少，自駕遊就方便。

I took a family unit with two bedrooms. It is clean with appropriate size. If there is one more toilet for the unit accommodating six persons, it will be perfect.

Very clean room, with lake view. Comfortable hearing the heavy rain during the night. Very cozy. The only complaint was the noisy neighbors who came in late and talked very loudly for a while, then were up very early talking close to our door. That was people related, not the lodgings fault.

Great location, clean room and great staff. Left a car parked for a few hours and when we returned to leave for home they came out and told me I’d left something in the room and gave it back to me. I’d happily stay again, thanks!

It was one of the best stays in NZ we had. The owners are lovely, even gave us homemade cookies at check-in. The private hot tub/pool is just amazing after a day out in cold winter days. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, comfy beds with heating blankets, everything is spotless clean. Just across the street is Lake Taupo with a great jogging track into the town center.

Hidden Paradise

I'm currently suffering from sciatica. The bed was quite cozy and didn't hurt my back. The spa tub came in clutch. There are a lot of food options. Lionel's is great if you have the coin. Dough Bros was a go-to for pizza. Catch 22 is your fish and chips spot. Grab some disc golf discs and enjoy one of the top 100 courses in the world at Spa Park. Just watch out for the big roll away on hole 12, and ask yourself Why Are Trees (YouTube Nate Sexton) on hole 17.

Loved our stay

Beautiful spot looking directly across to lake Taupo. Very friendly owners very nice and clean facilities. And homemade cookies a very nice and personal touch. Close to shops and restaurants. Only downer is a small amount of mould on the ceiling in the bedroom Probably due to the poximity of the hot tub. All in all a positive experience lovely and clean i would definitely recommend a stay at the Gabels clean warm and very friendly

We absolutely enjoyed our stay here for the last 4 nights. The owners are lovely and accomodating. Lots of privacy and the spa was enjoyable! The room was spotless on arrival and the cleaners were respectful when approaching our room for a service. Everything was super clean, the only thing we noticed was the spa area had a smell to it. Outside only Other than that, thank you for having us! We’ll definitely be back.
