Excellent customer service from the time they contact u till the day u left. All three of us agrees they deserve the best review. Front desk is always so helpful and the free laundry service is provided at no cost and free snacks 24/7 etc. location is right in the hustle& bustle night market area but u can’t hear any outside voice from the room. This is very great hotel with culture elements of Beijing Hutong. Super clean, special and quiet. The staffs are very nice. My overall feeling is just like at home. Life is easy to stay here, a lot of good restaurants could be found around the hotel and short way to metro station. The environment is so safe that we can eat out by the hotel at 11:00pm without any safety concern. Anyway, very strong recommendation for staying here.

Fantastic hidden gem boutique hotel in the middle of an uber cool hutong area of Beijing. Very close proximity to the Forbidden City, HouHai lake, Bell & Drum Tower and with a mega range of restaurants, bars, shops and local attractions quite literally on the doorstep!

The staff at this hotel made my stay a delight. They were so friendly and helpful. The whole staff was excellent, but Linda was invaluable with her fluent English and willingness to help with matters beyond the hotel reservation. I appreciate them all so much. The hotel is situated on a bustling and vibrant pedestrian street lined with hundreds of restaurants and shops, yet it remains peaceful and serene inside. The subway is conveniently located, making it easy to access any part of the city. I am grateful to have stayed here, and it is now one of my favorite properties in the world.

Cosy hotel - all the staff are helpful. Service is excellent. Only got the names of staff Dana and the male staff - Pao. He was really nice, helped us booked train ticket to Xi’an. The only thing is wifi is weak and 1 of the room has no window.

The staff are amazing and gracious people. They are very good with foreign guests. The room was clean and comfortable. They also do your laundry for free! What a bonus! As others have said, this is an excellent travel hotel. It’s in a lively Hutong pedestrian shopping street, so there is no vehicle directly to the hotel. I would suggest taking a car to the north gate of the street. If you take the subway, it takes about 1/2 mile on foot from the south gate. It’s a convenient location for accessing most Beijing sights. We were on the go and didn’t spend much time hanging around in the room, but it’s great for a shower and good nights sleep. The vibe is family friendly, so it’s not a place for party animals. There are some nice books to borrow, a table for 6-8 in a pleasant lobby with refreshments to buy. Plenty to see and shop and eat right outside the door. The neighborhood has an authentic China feel, with lots of locals and tourists enjoying the atmosphere. The street has good security and lots of cameras so there are no issues with overbearing salespeople or pickpockets. Again, the staff are a gem! Very welcoming and friendly and helpful.

The hotel is located in a busy street with lots of shops and eateries around, making it convenient to shop for souvenirs. There is a Starbucks and a restaurant in the same building. The subway is within walking distance, at the other end of the shopping street. To get to the hotel from the airport, you can take a taxi and alight at Nanluoguxiang North exit. Our room was clean. The air conditioner is centrally controlled and may be warm at times since it was set at heater mode in March regardless of the weather for the day. Not sure what’s the reason, but there may be a weird sewage smell from the toilet at times. Other than that, the room is well equipped with good supply drinking water, snacks, and toiletries What makes this property stand out would be the extremely warm service. We arrived at the hotel on a snowy day and were quickly welcomed with towels to dry ourselves and our luggage and warm cups of tea. The staff were cheerful, always ready to help with reservations of tourist attractions. They deserve the 5 stars rating!
