Nice suite

We very much liked our room, although there was a drip from the air conditioning unit that seemed to be damaging a table. We also had trouble with the suite’s sauna, but we otherwise loved the service and comfort of the hotel. Vaasa is a lovely city.

This hotel has a private sauna room in the staying room. This made very relaxed time. Easy to access from Vaasa station, just walk few minutes. This hotel is my favorite.

Accessible room

For some reason we got an accessible room, it was big so we didn’t really mind it. However the room got quickly very hot, which can be a problem for those who actually are in need of an accessible room. Especially considering that they might not be able to move by themselves. Otherwise the room was nice, the bed could be adjusted with a remote control and the bathroom had a showering chair and handles as well as an emergency button. The reception as well as the dining area were also very accessible, so I highly recommend this hotel if you are a wheelchair user or simply in need of an accessible accommodation!

Kiva yhden yön käynti

Meillä oli kiva yhden yön majoittuminen. Aamiaisessa löytyi valinnanvaraa, se oli runsas ja maukas, mistä iso plussa. Huoneemme oli jo vähän kulunut, esim. huonekalut ja lattia kolhuisia. Sisustus näytti 90-lukulaiselta. Mutta sänky oli mukava ja uusi, hyvät patjat ja vuodevaatteet. Huoneen kylppärissä oli myös poreamme ja sauna jotka olivat tosi mukava lisä.

Ihan ookoo hotelli, hyvä aamupala. Huoneen ja käytävien siisteydessä olisi ollut toivomisen varaa. Huoneessa todella hämärä valaistus, sitä ei pystynyt säätämään mistään. Hieman erikoinen partaveden tuoksu oli myös huoneessa. Huoneessa rikkinäisiä kaapin kulmia ja muutenkin sellainen vanhentunut ilme-remonttia vaatisi

Keskeinen sijainti, hiljainen!

Viihtyisa aula, tunnelmallinen, ystävällinen henksu, ravintolassa laaja juomavalikoima, huoneessa sauna ja poreamme, kylppäri tyylikäs ja uusittu, erillinen wc. Sänky kuin amme, tuli selkä kipeäksi. Vedenkeitin likainen, tarttis etikkaa! Pieni minibaari, ei parveketta, ikkunat hotellin toista osaa vastapäätä, josta suora näkymä huoneeseen. Hiljainen vaikka remobtti juuri menossa ulkopuolella, tilava. Oranssit käytävät 80-luvulta Kanttarellin aikaan uskollisesti.

Hotellrummet var rent och fräscht. Sängkomfort perfekt. Luftkonditionering funkade väldigt bra vilket räddadevåra liv då det var över 30 grader ute. Dock bökigt att mista använda två hissar och tre korridorer för att komma till receptionen och ut!

Skönt att bo på ett modernt hotell när man bott ute på landet utan dusch ett par dagar. Det var skönt att sova i rummet med behaglig temperatur osv. Dock kunde det funnits bättre mörkläggning till fönstrena då det blev väldigt ljust på morgonen. Det kunde också finnas lite bättre vegetariska alternativ i frukosten.

Trevligt och smidigt boende med fantastisk persona

Vi bodde på ett vanligt Scandic-hotell utan några större överraskningar, men det som verkligen stack ut var den fantastiskt trevliga personalen och den bästa Scandic-frukost vi hittills har fått – både smakrik och generös. Läget är smidigt med väldigt nära till centrum, vilket underlättade under vår vistelse. Först under andra natten upptäckte vi att det finns ett stort parkeringshus precis bakom glashuset – inomhus, i skuggan och med gott om plats. Extra plus för att det finns en korridor som leder direkt in till hotellet därifrån. En bra och bekväm vistelse, helt enkelt

Mysigt hotell nära till shopping och restauranger

Två nätter med familjen. Hade dock önskat få veta att det pågår ett bygge/byggarbetsplats vid hotellet. Var oljud vid frukosten. Krångligt att ta oss till rummen på plan 5/ vindsvåning. Men väldigt mysigt.

Ebookers pages claimed all rooms having aircon which was not correct. Only some rooms have it, and you can’t book them separately but it’s pure lottery who gets aircon and who not. Taken it was almost 30 degrees, we chose the hotel driven by aircon and were really disappointed, to say the least.
