Trevligt prisvärt och fräscht hotell.

Mycket trevligt, prisvärt och fräscht hotel med bra läge och fantastisk utsikt från den allmänna terassen. God Frukost med val av varmt mål men kunde ha mer pålägg. Rätt små men fräscha rum med fläkt men ej AC men fungerar om ej för varmt. Bra wi-fi samt bra parkeringsmöjligheter. Rekommenderas som ett bra prisvärt hotell men bil behövs om man skall ut efter mörkrets inbrott.

Hänvisade till ett rum som luktade fukt o ovädrat. A/C saknades trots att det stod så på denna bokings-site. Fläkten i badrum trasig och svårt att vädra då dörren precis vid gångpassage.Ingen utsikt alls förutom in i en vit vägg . Frukosten oinspirerande o minimal. Kan ej rekommendera stället. Slutpriset dessutom högre än det som visades på Hotels.com , Inte bra !

Excellent Hotel to explore Cape Town and suburbs

We had a lovely stay at the Hout Bay View. Offers cozy rooms, decent breakfast (freshly made for every guest) and a perfect spot to discover the area around Cape Town. Good seafood available at the harbour (2min away). Beautiful terrace with an amazing view of the bay. Owners are very friendly and obliging.

An excellent start of our holiday

We really enjoyed our stay at Hout Bay View. Warm hospitality, good breakfast, a nice swiming pool. And a nice view over Hout Bay. We might come back!

be cautious if you want to stay here

when we arrived, the person there seems drunk.So we phone the landline and cellphone for a long time.Then he came from the guest house around 10 mins. later. View is fantastic and room is acceptable. But it seems the guy in charge there is not so stable.That is our experience staying there.

Bien, peut mieux faire

Hout Bay n est pas le petit port pittoresque que sa position sur la carte laisserait penser, mais une ville assez importante au bord d une baie superbe et bein protege. C est en plus un point tres interessant pour circuler dans la region L hotel est bien situe sur les hauteurs. les chambres sont confortables et tres propres, un peu petites, et il n y a pas de vue depuis les chambres. Il faut sortir sur la terrasse qui est res agreable quqnd on est seuls. Le personnel de l'hotel manque un peu de chaleur et de disponibilite, se montre meme un peu rigide. Il y a des rappels a l ordre, en particulier pour les fumeurs placardes de partout!

Hôtel décevant par rapport aux photos du site

En fait l'hôtel dispose de 8 chambres mais les photos se trouvant sur le site ne concernent que 3 d'entre elles. Les 5 autres ne correspondent en rien aux photos. En fait ce sont des pieces aveugles et minuscules, propres mais vraiment très petites.

Great B&B for a Cosmopolitan Experience

Hout Bay View is a B&B with eight rooms for rent run by a couple of friendly guys who have a taste for clean modern decor and attention to detail. Breakfast is served every day in a large great room at two long tables from 7:30am to 9:00am, which included both cold and hot options well done. My wife and I availed ourselves of the hot tub and small pool in the evening, enjoying the mountain and bay views. Guests were fun, from all walks of life and a wide variety of countries. The hosts went out of their way to make our stay comfortable, helping us to print out tickets and boarding passes via their computer network and Internet connection. The lock on the door to our room got sticky, finally failing to work at all, and they replaced it within a few hours, before we got back that evening. Our room was probably the smallest one and was a bit tight, but still comfortable with a large bed, a small chair, two nightstands, two large closets and a safe. Linens were cleaned and replaced regularly and the beds made for us. It's great to be pampered. All and all, a great little B&B for a cosmopolitan experience.
