Hotel reception is on the 9th floor of a mixed use building. Bed is a box spring. You can feel the coils. Requested to be moved to another room with better bed after our first night. However. was told all their beds are the same and supposedly newly replaced. Aside from that, on our second night, we could smell fried food coming through the room somehow. It is good for location. Steps from the beach and subway. But not much for quality of stay.

We enjoyed our stay at Sunset Business Hotel, and it's clean, convenient walk to the beach. I booked a double bed but they gave us a suite room with partial ocean view. It was unexpecbut we love it so much and more likely we will try to go back.

Luxury without the price.

The location is unbeatable as it’s literally two minute walk to the beach! The surrounding area has great seafood, pork soup and excellent abalone porridge restaurant. (7 minute walk) The front desk has excellent manners and very attentive. The cleaning lady is also attentive and consistent in providing clean towels, linen and refilling coffee water. The tv works well, the shower was hot and strong. Although no kitchen, the refrigerator was big enough and the two separate vanity was helpful in washing fruit and small laundry. Another plus was the floor to ceiling window all at a modest price.

The room is really nice and clean with lots of space. But would love to see more of English manual on how to use the air-con or other amenities in the room. It located very nearby the beach and also lots of restaurants and shoppings nearby. Breakfast is nice. Staff (front desk) can speak good English and helpful. However, we asked for the towel change for next day but we did not received while we go out and had to call and ask in the late evening. Staff service is quick and polite. Parking lot has lots of spaces but it‘s quite narrow on the way up and down the parking with one way. Recommend to stay here.

The location of the hotel is perfect. Just across the street from the beach and the market. On the main road that has many restaurants and bars. We had the executive suite and to be honest it was not as good as I thought it would be. The hotel is very dated, we really did not have a shower. the bathroom has a jacuzzi tub area with a pole that comes up from one end of the tub and that is the shower head. If you choose to take a shower the water will go everywhere in the bathroom and they inly give you only 2 big towels. We had trouble with the A/C and also when it is on there is a bright green light that stayed on and at night it is very bright. On the plus side of the room it is very spacious and you have a big balcony that over looks the beach. The staff were very friendly and kind. This wouldn't be a place I would stay at again.

We didn’t like the property as soon as we saw it. Doesn’t look like the pictures on Expedia. As soon as we walked in we knew the hotel was not safe to stay in. We walked out after a few minutes and looked for another hotel to stay at. We kept the key for a few days just in case we absolutely did not have a place to stay at. We went back after 2 days just to return the room keys. The front desk person was nice but we just can’t stay at that hotel. The hotel was totally misrepresented and no where near the description on Expedia. I wouldn’t recommend that place. I would like to get a refund but I know that would never happen. I was given the chance by Expedia to cancel the reservation a few days before but how would you know to cancel if you haven’t really seen the place. I hope this feedback make it to your website so people would know what they are getting into with this hotel.
