The Wilkes-Barre Lodge exceeded all of my expectations. It was extremely clean and well kept. The area around the hotel was not great, but otherwise a very comfortable stay.

It was a small room with a hard matress. The plug for the tub drain was sitting on the tub itself and there was no toilet paper holder. They sit the toilet paper on the back of the toilet.

Great Stay at Wilkes-Barre Lodge! I had a wonderful experience at the Wilkes-Barre Lodge Hotel. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and check-in was quick and easy. My room was clean, comfortable, and quiet—perfect for a restful night. The location is convenient, with easy access to local shops and restaurants. Great value for the price. I’d definitely stay here again!

How do people rate this place a 10?

The lobby smelled terrible. There is an abandoned building next door. There were people arguing outside at 5 am. Some questionable people living or staying there. The bed was uncomfortable and had 3 small flat pillows for 2 people. I would never stay here again.

Nice clean comfy room but didn’t feel welcome

Clean comfortable room. Short drive to dining and shopping. Staff was very nice. The problems were the harsh polices about check-in and check-out, and the unfriendly tone of the posted notice about them. I didn’t even know what they were trying to say with the thing about a half hour (see pic). Worse: all the free AC outlets are blocked off so you can't plug things into them. To charge devices you have to unplug the TV, microwave, or fridge.
