Arrived and the place had shut down. We had no where to stay and we weren't he only ones. Do not hook to stay here even though it's still on all the travel sites, it's closed up.

Know back yard dirty, Room very dirty no towels luckily we took how’re own, bed was disgusting bed bugs itching all night would never stay there again and would not recommend to anyone keep well clear disgusting from start to finish.

This hotel is not what I expected. Need to walk through a noisy club to get to room. First room was filthy. bed covers stained and mattress and mattress topper were all urine stains. 2nd room offered wasn't much better. ledges and skirting boards were filthy. bottles down bottom of bed. Someone's half used tooth adhesive in bathroom cupboard with a filthy mug. Bedside cabinet needed painted. Would not recommend.

I know it's a cheap hotel... But good grief. As soon as I walked in I realised the room hadn't been cleaned. There was litter on the windowsill and under the bed. The blinds were filthy, the carpet was filthy, the shower was filthy (complete with black mold) and the shower door locked like it had been kicked in... I contacted hotels.com who tried to contact the hotel but they wouldn't answer. We had to leave because it was gross, we ended up staying in Ember House which was immaculate- highly recommend! When I checked out the receptionist asked why with a knowing smile on his face. He knew exactly why! They're shameless. Avoid.

Nice position on the prom, and the staff on reception were very friendly. The bar area and front were nice, good halloween decorations. Rooms ok, hot water in the shower and bed was comfy. The problem we had was v noisy guests at night

Expect to get what you pay for

Very Basic and does need a good clean. The main thing is that the beds were comfy and clean bedding. So for a cheep hotel night you can expect to get what you pay for.

Was a little apprehensive after reafing some reviews. Arrived and was greeted by a lovely guy, very pleasant friendly and helpful. Room was clean and warm, bedding and towels were spotless. Not the Hylton but what can you expect for such a cheap stay.? Would definitely stay again.

For the price is a good hotel but is not family hotel there was no lift and we were placed at the 4th floor as family of 4 with a baby. The room was small the bunk bed was shaky there was no toilet paper at the bathroom no hot water and the whole stay was kind of terrible the manager was making out on the stairs with his girl and the day we left there was a fight as we seen blood everywhere in the lobby so yeah not the safest place for families with kids

The hotel was in the bar and look good from the outside but there was no parking and the hotel room it’s self was really bad mold growing up the walls and one of the room the ceiling was falling apart I wouldn’t stay here if you paid me the staff was lovely but the hotel it’s self was horrible avoid all cost I found another hotel straight away

I don't usually leave reviews but on this case . Stay away from sapphire hotel. It looks nothing like photos rooms dirty paper peeling blinds hanging of . They didn't leave towel in my friend room he asked them was told to pay £7 deposit . Outdoor seating is filthy they drag anyone of streets to go in there bar . Smells weed outdoor seating . Floor just covered in cigarette buts whole weekend . 2nd day it was chips thrown everywhere . Poor filth expedia need to update it or get sapphire of there site . Big con for what I paid words cannot describe it so much filth everywhere . So called dressing table covered in tea stains . I f you had allergys or asthma you suffer dust and dirt all round skirting boards and dado rail shocking it never been cleaned I'm surprised e.h.o have not shut it down locals say they just get fined and pay it and carry on I'm trying get a refund
