Hotel Sonne was outstanding. In the middle of town, close to everything. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. There is no elevator, so be prepared for a few stairs. You can get a dronk from their bar and take it upstairs to a very quiet and private terrace. Highly recommended.

Our family had a fantastic stay at Hotel Sonne! This charming, quaint hotel is in the perfect location, within easy walking distance to all the nearby historical sites. The warm and welcoming staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The hotel has a small parking lot which made it easy to offload luggages. We’d highly recommend Hotel Sonne for anyone looking to enjoy a cozy time in Rothenburg!

The staff was so helpful and kind and they spoke English which was really helpful for us. The location is excellent. There is a pedestrian only road at the front of the hotel however you can drive to the back entrance. We would stay there again.

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at in Europe. The most friendly and efficient staff you can imagine. The room was GREAT—modern, but with a wonderful old-world charm. Great stay in Hotel Sonne

Just back from an enjoyable stay at the hotel for a few days. Check in was easy and the room was spot on. Car park is located less than two minutes walk from the hotel, it's definitely worth contacting the hotel and reserving a parking place. Hotel restaurant was very good, ate there a few times. It always seemed to be fairly busy, lot of people stopping to eat or have a drink. Overall really enjoyed my stay here and would recommend the hotel and it's staff

Cozy hotel in a beautiful town

Very nice small family hotel in the center of the historical town. Exceptionally friendly staff. One of the best breakfasts we have ever had in any hotel. Lovely clean room and bathroom. Nice view to the medieval center. The hotel and their separate garage was a little difficult to find with a car as traffic on the narrow alleys was strictly limited, but we got good instructions at the reception. The garage is only about 100 meters from the hotel.
