Beautiful and very functional modern rooms. Accommodations for two leave some privacy challenges if you are anything but romantically involved. But not insurmountable. GREAT location!

When we arrived at The Diamond it was before check in time so we paid to get into our room early. When we arrived into the room we realized the air conditioning wasn't working. After asking for help from the women cleaning the rooms and the front desk they told us to go exploring the city and the room should be cooled off by the time we returned. Sadly, when we returned at 9 pm the air-con was still inoperative. Exhausted, we asked if we could switch rooms to one with working air-con. They were very kind and quick with a room change. When we got to this room we noticed it outfitted with complimentary branded water bottles and Stroopwaffles to enjoy, a nice touch our original room did not have. Sadly this rooms air-con was inoperative as well. We called down once more and they were kind enough to find a room where the air conditioning finally appeared to be working. It was rough going as it was 80 degrees Fahrenheit and the air con was working intermittenly. This third room also had not been cleaned nearly as well as the others and also didn't have the waterbottles and stroopwaffles room two had. The inconsistencies between the rooms and the lack of air-con were the only draw backs. The staff were beyond helpful and quick in moving us to a room that was somewhat more comfortable.

This hotel has the best staff ever. From Samuel, Noam, Lena and the lovely house keeping person Natalie, All went over and above to make our stay wonderful. We were there for Kings Birthday and the staff forewarned us. We loved each minute there!

An absolutely wonderful hotel — perfectly located, incredibly comfortable, and truly welcoming. From the moment we arrived, we were received with exceptional kindness and outstanding professionalism. The manager who welcomed us went above and beyond to meet all our needs with remarkable efficiency and warmth. The hotel's convenience made our stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast was of the highest quality — absolutely delicious and not to be missed!

Good location, close to transport, nice and clean hotel, the only negative would be the lack of soundproofing between rooms - we were able to hear the people on either side and above us quite clearly. That is the only drawback as this is a 5 star hotel and a little bit more peace and quiet would be expected for the price. Overall good though

Hotel is brand new, and in very good and central location of Leidseplan. Close to public transportation, parking house within couple of hundred meters and conveniet to book with the hotel. Amazing service by the receptionist, good and generous breakfast in the cafe of the hotel. Easy online check-in. Room was clean and super comfortable, beaufitul style as well. Every necessity was conveniently found in the room, plus some extra hospitality that made us happy.

L’hôtel est bien placé mais très minimaliste pour un 4 étoiles : petit accueil et l’ascenseur qui mène aux chambres. Par contre énormément de bruits, mauvaise insonorisation et l’aspirateur qu’on passe dans le couloir avant 9h du matin…

This was an excellent stay. Cleanest hotel I have stayed at in Europe so far. Located in hands down the best area of Amsterdam for Food, shopping, night life and shelter from mainstream crowds. Staff was courteous and friendly with every encounter and went the extra mile every chance they could.
