The ocean view king room is in a state of disrepair. The balcony door does not latch, so a slide lock was added but this does not seal it enough to keep out the stink from the sewage treatment plant. Blinds covered in handprints, grubby walls, water damaged main door, heavily corroded bathroom mirrors, no hot water and a very sad breakfast to boot. We prepaid for one week and left after one night - the property refused any refund (all the booking options we saw were non-refundable) BEWARE.

Ok, so I will get this out of the way, I liked it. It could be much better, which is why it doesn't deserve 5 stars, but read my review to see why. The staff, for the most part, is very friendly. We were greeted by the attendant and he (JaAir (no idea how to spell it) was really nice. The lady who cleans the room and makes breakfast was also really nice. For our family, this side of the island is quieter, and that was amazing. If we had stayed on the north side of the island, we would have left. What would make this place better, update the rooms, they were clean but you can tell the salt air wears them. The air conditioning was great. Dishes and stuff were fine. The shower head should be replaced. It says spa, but it didn't have a spa feel. We reserved the hot tub, but we had to figure that out; they never said how that worked, so that was a bit annoying. The breakfast is not breakfast, it is a few snack breads with some fruit, wish it was more, or had a community dinner one night a week. The pool is nice, but dang, it is too cold. The ocean was much warmer. Rent a golf cart first thing and use it all week. This is off the beaten path. Eat at Ulan within a mile walking. Hotwater takes longer than it should, so be patient. I like this place and would love to say more, but I'm limited on the number of characters.

The room was clean and perfect! The view was spectacular. It was a perfect way to start off our trip especially because we both had business to attend to remotely. Plenty of food options nearby. The staff was excellent - beyond top notch. We hope to be back soon. Thank you so much for having us.

Absolutely loved it and will be back! The staff was friendly, super helpful, and knowledgeable. The rooms were very clean with great amenities and you just can't beat those views. Location is fantastic for exploring the Central and South side of Isla Mujeres and I would highly recommend staying here - I will be back on future trips!

L’hébergement était très bien, mais il manquait grandement de matériel pour la cuisine et les armoires de cuisine étaient collantes. La vue était cependant magnifique! La meilleure vue de Isla Mujeres. Le personnel était aussi vraiment très sympathique.

Solo Stay Azulea

This place was so beautiful and quiet. I loved it. The people were so helpful. The front desk also helped me with getting a ride around the island to take some pictures from the taxi driver. The complimentary breakfast was simple and delicious. They had an espresso machine, pan dulce and fruits available. My room overlooked the surrounding jungle and beach it was amazing.
