Should Be Called The Stay Away Motel

Arrived at hotel at 11pm as we were only there for one night as we were doing a race the next morning, and our room wasn’t ready, we were told by some meth head that someone just stole the TV from the room we’d be staying in and we had to wait around for 45 minutes till the room was cleaned & ready. The shower was broken, the fire alarm was ripped off the ceiling. This place is a dump.

I really like Holiday Motel. It is clean, comfortable and the staff were really nice. The young woman in the reception was very polite and the lady that clean the rooms is really, really nice and helpful. The only suggestion that I can give them is to upgrade the bath towels for a bigger size. There are very small.

When I showed up there was nobody in the office took 35 minutes to find somebody to check in and then when ready to check out next morning, same thing nobody in office bathroom only had one towel found a tortilla chip on the dresser in the bedroom carpet not vacuumed Carpet is so dirty so turn black just by walking around. Absolutely disgusting.

The place is a dump and I found hair in the bathtub, the seal on the toilet was broken and possibly had been used. The only reason to stay there is you want to be close to Yosemite.

The room smelled of old cigarette smoke and very outdated. Cigarettes butts were laying around the grounds outside the rooms. I think people live in this motel and it’s more of an out town hotel for workers. We would have checked out immediately but Oakdale was booked out of rooms for major events. I would not stay here again. The staff is very sweet and do their best.

This property was a DUMP. Stains on bedding, burn marks, people shouting and having domestic disputes, shower was brutal, ice machine did NOT work The gal at the front, however when she was there was pleasant. There was twice that I went to the desk and a sign was on saying staff shortage be back later. TERRIBLE place! When we would leave for the day we would put our luggage back in the vehicle.

We arrived on Saturday and had to ring the bell at the front desk several times before a woman came. She looked like she was sleeping. Parking was extremely tight. The motel room was very dirty upon arrival. A long black hair was found on the sheets and we don’t have black hair. The carpet was not vacuumed. There was no blow dryer provided. The bathroom is in desperate need of remodeling. Tile cracked and grout missing with dirt and grime stuck in between. Toiletries were a joke. Skinniest bar of soap we have ever seen and shampoo was in a packet. The last straw for us was not having any hot water. This motel should be shut down and undergo serious remodeling before allowing guests to stay here. The only positive for us was getting our money refunded for not staying two additional nights.
