The hoops you need to jump through at the beginning before being provided your code due to the “contactless stay” is super annoying. Upon our arrival, I was having issues with the app and had to keep finding my reservation number and re-logging in. There was a pleasant young woman at the desk who helped us. It also isn’t clear in the app that you can request an earlier check in time (4pm is pretty late IMO) so we stowed our belongings in a locker until 4pm. If no lockers had been available, I’m not sure what we would have done. The hotel set up and room itself was comfortable and the location is super walkable. Some of the front desk people weren’t very friendly at all and would barely look at you. The keypad on the outside of the building is very hard to see at night, and though someone at the desk could have just pushed the button to let us in, they didn’t on several occasions. We tried to eat at the restaurant on site but didn’t have reservations, so had a few things off the limited menu in the courtyard with lackluster service. We requested a later noon check out which was nice, but then they accidentally checked us out at 11 so had to let us back in to our room. We stayed 3 nights and for what I spent I’d expect way better customer service & would just prefer a regular check in process + interaction with people at the desk. Feels more like a wannabe Airbnb than a $300+/night hotel brand honestly. Not sure I’d stay again unless I didn’t have other options.
