I never leave negative reviews, but a few things. First, DO NOT book this hotel through a 3rd party website. I booked and paid for cancelation rights but didn't realize they ended a week before check in, instead of a day or two before like most. That's fine, but my husband was sick and we needed to change the dates by 3 days (not cancel, but just move the dates and the same room was still available) and hotels.com was going to charge me 100% to change the reservation by 2 days. I contacted the hotel and they said there is nothing they could do because I booked through a 3rd party website, which was odd because I was paying at the property. So we lost the full amount for those 3 days. I then booked 2 nights for a few days later. The room is nice, but it's outside the hotel and requires a separate door key for the outside door. They will only give you one. They also stocked the room for 2 people instead of 3, and there is no phone or way to call for service from these rooms. It's 59 steps up and down (which they did disclose but I'm not doing an extra trip to ask for a towel).
On the plus side, nice room and very nice view. Probably OK if you book directly with the hotel and just know that the rooms with outside access are actually a different building than the hotel with no front desk and no way to call.
