The hotel itself is beautiful! Clean and great services! Even though from outside of it looks small it was breathtaking when you walk inside! It is so close to everything!

Beyond this property and the room we stayed in (Maria) being much more beautiful than pictures, the staff and property manager Ana were incredibly friendly and helpful! The room had everything you can think of and the place and area it’s located in, is safe and very convenient to all the things Oaxaca has to offer.

I really liked the place. It was quite despite the noises outside. The room i got was small but very nice and clean. With a modern feel to it. Also has a small patio outside the sliding doors we enjoyed an afternoon snack there. We traveled with 4 luggage and that was not fun because theres no elevator. But thats was on us. The stay was great!

The primary reason to stay here is the amazing location. Half a block from the zocalo, where all the action is while being on a quiet street with no cars. It was also clean and seemed safe. That said, there was a lot we didn’t like. It is really a cross between an Airbnb and hotel with limited service. No concierge to ask questions of. The rooms are on the small side and not well laid out (example, no dresser so I had to use the “desk” to put all my clothes on top of and no closet). The shower pressure was weak, we had an issue with drainage, and it smelled of sewage most of the time we were there. Lastly, the birds chirping in the morning typically woke us up. If we came back to Oaxaca we would look for another place near the Zocalo.

La experiencia estuvo lejos de lo que esperaba, especialmente considerando las expectativas asociadas con un hotel boutique. Hay varios aspectos que no cumplen con los estándares que suelen caracterizar a este tipo de alojamiento: atención a los detalles, comodidad excepcional y servicios adicionales. Si la ubicación es buena pero la calle es sucia eso puede ser un factor que el lugar podría trabajar, tal vez ofreciendo información o trabando de la mano con las autoridades locales. También, la falta de elementos básicos como batas, pantuflas o suficiente mobiliario funcional claramente impacta la experiencia. Al final, puede que este lugar sea más adecuado para quienes buscan un Airbnb con buena ubicación y no necesariamente la experiencia de un hotel boutique.
