The accommodation was spotlessly clean. Rooms were well-appointed with fabulous bathroom and quality toiletries. Tea pigs tea and Tan y Castell Welshcakes were a cut above, as well as Ty Nant bottled water. The mattress and pillows were lovely quality. Rooms had minimalist furniture creating uncluttered calming space. The full Welsh breakfast was impressive, cooked to order. Unlimited juices, cereal and toast. Friendly, efficient staff. Car parking onsite. A lovely stay. Will recommend to friends and family

Lively and friendly with good food and drink

one night stay to break up the retrurn from Somerset. The pub is lively and friendly, the food and service were both top notch and the room was almost like new in condition so was very pleasant. The only downside was noisy neighbours who kicked off at 02.00 which wasnt good for a decent sleep but thats not the fault of the hotel just inconsiderate fellow guests. Would recommend the Kings Head which is also very well located within Usk.

beautilful Usk

a REAL surprise I had no idea how lovely and quaint Usk is and so pretty with flowers. Everyone was friendly. The staff were so helpful and the food portions not only yummy but be warned they are huge a starter is like a main course We WILL be back

The property has great potential, but lacks the finer details. The rooms are new and feel fresh, but some small adjustments are needed—for example, no glasses in the bathroom, no hook for the towel anywhere. The website also needs updating. In this day and age, it's just not good enough. Contacted the property the day prior to arrival, never got a response. Breakfast was delicious! Like I said, it has great potential to be a very good place to stay.
