We arrived at 10.30am, dropped our bags and went out the receptionist was moody with no smile. Came back around 10.30pm where we got given 2 single bed room. We booked a deluxe room as we were celebrating a birthday and we requested this on booking. Not even a happy birthday on arrival. As we were so tired we settled in, only to find a bug on the bed with hairs. We rang up, nothing was done. The receptionist did not listen and in fact hung up the phone. There was no iron, ironing board or slippers. We were told to go downstairs to collect!!! After my husband went down he agreed to change the room however NO LIFT goes there so had to pack everything up and move rooms. The room was bigger but didnt feel deluxe but as were super tired we took this room. I cant believe they did this as we were only there for 2 nights celebrating a birthday. This didnt feel special thanks to this hotel. Also water and coffee is only given on the 1st day. On check out no questions were asked on our stay. I wouldnt stay here again or recommend the hotel.

Room was spacious and really clean. Toiletries were lovely and great if you haven’t brought your own. Location was excellent, out of the hustle and bustle but a 10 min walk away from busier areas. The we encountered were fine, but one lady was clearly training so things were a lot slower. Would have been nice to have the tea and coffee restocked on our second day but we went to reception and they were happy to provide us with extra.

Chambre comfortable est agréable mais extrèmement chaude. Malgré tous les radiateurs fermés, le sol était très chaud, j'ai du dormir les fenêtres ouvertes en plein hiver !

Room was very basic and compact. No english Tv channels except BBC News. Bed was comfortable. Only saw receptionist, and he was pleasant enough. Down side was the area. Didn't feel particularly safe after dark. Poor lighting, dfunks, rubbish & graffiti

The hotel is very well appointed and the breakfast spread is good. However, this is a hotel where most of what you request, will be denied. Services are very poor and definitely not guest oriented. 1) Housekeeping services very poor. They did not do the room on 1 day and the other 2 days, did not replenish amenities. When Front Desk was informed of this, we were told to come and pick up our fresh towels! 2) The Front Desk stout gentleman in the morning shift on 02 & 03 Feb was nasty, rude, and seemed racist. The afternoon shift gent was much better though 3) There was no minibar in the room, which was quite shocking 4) There was no hot water kettle 5) Coffee pods were not replenished. Front Desk told us it was only placed on arrival! Why keep an espresso maker in the room when you do not replenish pods daily? 6) Water also was not replenished on day 2 & 3 7) BF service on 4th morning was cleared with alacrity at 10 am while we were eating. We were not informed even though we were sitting in the bfast dining area. This is a standard and courtesy to be conducted in any hotel around the world. ALL OF THE ABOVE REEKS OF AN ARROGANCE WHICH SPOILED OUR 3 NIGHTS STAY and we would never recommend this hotel to any person.
