Great hotel to stay in for a short trip, especially if you are interested in visiting the British Musuem, which is just a short 10 minute stroll away.

The ladies were wonderful. English breakfast was the best I have ever had in a hotel.

It was a lovely cozy space. Staff are friendly. Walkable distance to most places.

6/10 Good

A clean and adequate budget hotel

My usual hotel in London was full, so I stayed in this hotel. This hotel is fairly priced for the budget traveller. The choice at breakfast seems to be hot or cold with no variation, but that sort of standardisation is fair for the price.
Ann, 3-night trip

Great stay, highly recommended.

Only stayed overnight. Lovely friendly staff, clean room. Slept like a log, bed comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Could leave my luggage and pick up later in the day if wanted. Great central location. Really enjoyed my stay. Highly recommend.

Good for one night

Very friendly staff, only stayed for 1 night. The cheese on a full English breakfast was baffling. Pillows were a bit lumpy
Alastair, 1-night trip

Great spot near multiple tube stations. Amenities are basic but a clean place to stay near the university.

Our room was at the top floor too much stairs to climb there is no lift I reserved for 3 persons I paid for one extra bed which I returned when I got there.
Carmen, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Good pricing. Very good staff. Very good breakfast. Rather noisy in the rooms while people settled in for the night. Will not hold luggage after check-out so need to either carry or make some other arrangements if extending stay past 10 am to shop or head into the nearby British Museum.
Mary, 2-night trip

Single room

Positives: very friendly and solicitous desk staff, with 24/7 check-in option; comfortable bed; clean and relatively updated bathroom, with surprisingly good water pressure for a hotel of this age; convenient and reasonably quiet location. Could be improved: temperature control was dicey; furnishings were somewhat battered and could use renewal, along with the paint; the single room has no storage at all (don't bring a large suitcase, as there will be no room for both you and it!)--this could be remedied inexpensively by using bed risers to make space beneath.
1-night trip

6/10 Good

It took 2 days to get the toilet fixed in our room. They ran out of items during breakfast and didn’t replace them not even the next day. Our room definitely needs updating. It sure didn’t match the pictures on their website. The best employee worked the evening shift. I don’t know her name but she was from the Ukraine.
Gerald, 5-night trip

The room smelled horrible and the carpet was extremely dirty. They booked our breakfast for 8:00 and when we were there, there was no vacant seat. we had to go back to our room and come back later.
Seyed Mojtaba, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

NO ELEVATOR AND NO MUCH SUPPLIES IN THE ROOM, LIKE TISSUE PAPERS, FACE OR HAND TOWELS, NO DRINKING WATER SUPPLY.
Eleanor, 3-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

I found the property quiet and safe. My room was small but cozy. Tge linens were very clean and the whole of the property was very tidy. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The breakfast was interesting. I loved the cut fruit and the fact you had prunes! Which greatly help with any slow moving digestive travel issues. I need to learn how to make Tiger Bread since it’s not sold where I live. The jams available while not a huge variety was most delicious. The lack of outlets was annoying but it sufficed. The bathroom was tiny. I really would recommend the property add an expandable shower rod/towel rack to the bathrooms where possible so that you can have a place to store your toiletries or let your clothes air out/dry while staying. Bed was medium firm and I had some great sleep. Perfect amount of pillows.

2/10 Poor

Was awful the front desk Asian lady so helpless then no fridge no elevator paid breakfast u can taste was overheating then no ice no running water shower I can’t shower long then not even a dresser for us 3 and claim 5 floors but again no enough pressure water for shower understand is old but plumbing no fridge no dresser for 3 5 days at the end I put stuff for garbage and housecleaning woman call me the guest the bad word not knowing I was there uhhh😠

Gilles, 5-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

My room was beautiful and comfortable, but more importantly the staff was so friendly, helpful, and communicative. They made sure I knew my options for breakfast, reminded me of the times, accommodated my arrival time, always had someone available at the front desk, and were so nice. I will definitely come again.
