This was an amazing apartment to spend a couple days in. Though the check-in process wasn't super clear until a guy at the front desk had to direct me to the right floor. But more than made up for it with how stunning the view was, was right around pretty amazing food options, near the blue line park and sky capsule station. The LCT Y residence is a luxury apartment. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms. Spacious kitchen with two fridges, microwave and miele cooktop. In suite washer/dryer. Amazing views of Hauendae beach. Only negative thing for me was that not many of the staff spoke English so we had to rely on google translate a lot more.

The first 48 hours of staying there was disasterous. Bedroom accomodations were wrong, alarms were going off in Korean only, couldn't turn off lights until well after midnight. The hotel rep couldn't shut them off and had to turn off all lights to the rooms which resulted in no lights in the main bathroom so we had to use phone flashlights to see. Finding the front desk and check in was extemely difficult to find. It was even harder to find a desk person as they apparently shut down at 9pm without telling us.

They gave us a free upgrade. The property has an amazing view of Haeundae Beach and the city. The LCT location is perfect for families traveling with kids or teens. It’s within walking distance to popular attractions like the Sky Capsule, ClubD Oasis, and Haeundae Beach. There are convenience stores nearby, and you can walk to McDonald’s and several coffee shops in the morning. The property is very clean, and the hoteliers are incredibly friendly — they even escorted us to the elevator.

This was one of the worst stays I’ve ever had. The check-in process was extremely confusing — the counter was in B4, but no one informed us beforehand. The property is shared with residents, and the security officers were rude and unhelpful, offering little to no guidance on where to go. Access to the building was a constant issue. All side doors were locked, leaving only a main rotating door that was unsafe — To make things worse, they blocked off this rotating door the next day due to painting, again with no prior notice. We were constantly sent in circles trying to find an exit or entrance, and door access codes kept changing without clear instructions. During the middle of the day, they blocked the front entrance for painting and didn’t allow any vehicles to come through — meaning no pickups or drop-offs, which caused a huge inconvenience. Check-in was a mess: only 1–2 staff members were helping a large crowd of arriving guests. On top of that, any room amenity requests had to be made before 10 PM because all staff leave after that time — highly inconvenient and unprofessional. Overall, the lack of communication, safety concerns, and poor service made this a terrible experience. I would not recommend staying here.

I liked the area around the hotel, the relatively new facility, the spaciousness and the view of the city from the room, and proximity to many local hot spots. What I did not appreciate was the overall unfriendly and unhelpful attitude of the staff, in stark contrast to staff in comparable 4-star facilities, particularly consideing the association with the 5-star hotel. The staff manning the desk by the entrance of the building claimed it was not the "front desk" when I asked simple questions, such as where I could obtain extra towels. It defies logic to have a desk by the front where guests arrive and to tell guests it's not the front desk. It was really a lesson of what guest services should not look like.

We had a late check in and the staff was very accommodating and nice. Whenever we had a request it was promptly addressed and taken care of. The only downside was upon getting to the room it was very hot and had and extremely strong fish odor in the kitchen to the point of being unbearable. The space was very good and the views were even better. Having the AC on and the unit deodorized would’ve made the stay much more pleasant.
