Our experience at Casa Lumos was extremely disappointing.
There is no reception; you receive your room number and access codes via message beforehand. We even received our room number two hours before arrival. However, when we entered the room, to our shock, other guests were already staying there. They told us they had booked the same room.
We then had to go back downstairs with all our luggage and spent quite some time calling and messaging to figure out what was going on. Eventually, after reaching a call center agent, we were assigned a different room — on the ground floor, which we would not have chosen.
The new room was small, the bathroom extremely tiny, and the toilet was practically inside the shower. No apology, no compensation — despite clearly renting out the same room twice.
Because of this experience, we strongly advise against staying here. It is overpriced and underwhelming. Pay a bit more elsewhere in the hope of receiving proper service and basic professionalism. This situation was simply bizarre.
