The locks on door require a key inside to lock which could be a fire hazard if a fire started and the lock is a pain to unlock. Bathroom door would not latch closed, cabin had a funny smell.

The space was very clean and well maintained. Unfortunately when we ran the hot water our first night it was the most unbearable sulfur egg smell that was nauseating and filled the cabin. The owner was extremely attentive and provided dinner and free hot tub set up for us due to the major inconvenience. It was due to the water not being run for days, I do think if there is a chance of this smell building from not being used the staff should have flushed it prior to new guest arrivals so we didn’t have to deal with that. The hot tub set up we were provided was in theory wonderful, however when we went to use it it was boiling hot we couldn’t even put our feet in. We were extremely bummed that something we were looking forward to wasn’t something we ended up being able to even use. The sauna in our room was a nice little add on, and the bed was very comfortable! Overall it was a fine trip, but definitely not worth the money we paid.

We arrived late at night and had a hard time locating the numbers on our cabins but once located we liked them. The property had a pool, hot tubs and the other amenities listed all of which were in good condition. Host sent a link of "useful information" with, apparently a waiver that went to a broken link. Never responded to my message saying the link was broken. As such we had no info on how to get a fire or start the hottubs. Nonetheless would recommend for the stay. Even better if the host is responsive or provides info on how to reach them.

The lock situation on the door to my cabin was concerning. The key was required to lock it from both the inside and the outside (presenting a hazard if I needed to escape quickly), and there was no deadbolt. There was another lock that had a keyhole on both the inside and outside, but my key did not work on it. As a single woman staying on the property entirely alone in the off season, I felt the need to barricade my door each night to ensure nobody could get in, since I couldn't deadbolt it.
