Lovely, comfortable & clean Hotel

A nice clean comfortable room 5 mins walk from the center of Shrewsbury. The staff are fantastic, so helpful, smiley and friendly and the food was fantastic, all our meals tasted very freshly prepared and cooked.

Can't find anything negative to say about this place. It was easy to find and close to the town centre, a 7 min walk. We were greeted by a very friendly member of staff on arrival who showed us to our room which was warm, clean and homely. Beds were very comfortable. Would recommend.

My son and I spent a week here. The staff were top notch. The highlight of the stay was dining at the restaurant everyday. The food was incredible. Although Shrewsbury has many fine places to dine, we found ourselves returning daily to try something new from the menu.

Business Stay 1-Night

Overall, I was happy with my stay and would stay again! The car park was busy but I found parking without a problem. The evening meal was delicious, as was the breakfast. I would go as far to say the full English was one of the best I've had..... Service was unbeatable.

The service was impeccable and the room was clean. The breakfast was delicious. The only downside was that the bathroom had a mat that didn’t look very clean. I just moved it out of the way and didn’t use it. And the kettle couldn’t be plugged in as the table was too high for the plug to reach the socket. I would most definitely stay here again.

Thank you for your hospitality you can see the effort going into the outside space,. Room was clean and spacious good bed and bedding really pleasant staff and a lovely breakfast. Some of tbe finish of the room refurbishment was a bit poor diy rather than professional but for what we paid we were more than happy satisfied. Had tickets for an event in town so didnt eat on this occasion but have def put on our list of places to return to for a meal and as long accomodaton stays reasonable we will combine it with an overnight stay rather than drive back to.Telford.

I arrived in the middle of the team’s Diwali celebrations and felt awful (they’d closed the bar for a few hours), however the team were so welcoming and friendly, and made me feel at home. Room was immaculate, quiet and comfy bed. Parking easy and off the road, so felt secure. Excellent freshly cooked full English was delicious Will stay again, and next time eat at the restaurant as the food smelled wonderful!

Übernachtung und mit guter Nähe zum Zentrum

Das Zimmer war sehr sauber. Das Bett war sehr bequem mit dicker Zudecke. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war in Ordnung. Dass Parkplätze vorhanden sind, habe ich erst zu spät bemerkt. Der Fernseher hing sehr wackelig an der Wand - die Wandbefestigung war zum Teil herausgebrochen. Die Zimmertür nach draußen dichtet nicht sehr gut ab, so dass man alles von draußen hört - insbesondere zu Restaurantzeiten die Küchengeräusche. Das liegt auch mit an den Luftschlitzen über der Tür, die nicht zuzumachen sind. Es war ziemlich kalt im Zimmer und die Heizung war noch nicht in Betrieb. Die Lage zur Innenstadt ist sehr gut. insgesamt war ich aber zufrieden mit meiner Übernachtungswahl.

2 Night stay. Hotel situated less than 10 minute walk from centre. Had a single room that was situated around back of restaurant/pub so can get to room without going inside. Room was clean and cosy, only gripe was no bedside table so can't have a cup of tea or snack while in bed watching TV. Major plus point was lunch in restaurant - 3 course menu was a bargain and delicious - one of best Thai red currys i've ever had. Would definitely stay again.

Nice bedroom, tiles in bathroom need updating, a new shower curtain required and the bathroom fan would appreciate a clean.The staff are very polite,and excellent service from all concerned.The full English breakfast was very good and filling but not sure if there was an alternative choice. Four of us ate there one evening and the food could not be faulted,Accommodation is a few minutes walk to the river and edge of town,Shrewsbury is a beautiful town and full of independent shops,we would highly recommend a stay at Yak &Yeti.

Great place to stay roon was excellent the restaurant looked and smelt fabulous .we didnt eat there as meeting friends ib the centre of town. Would high recommend this hotel .the outside area the garden and the sun terrace was amazing
