Well worth the short walk from the train station, Yak &Yeti has quiet, comfortable rooms above a friendly restaurant. I didn't eat dinner there, but the food smelled delicious (and they do have vegan options.)
My vegan breakfast was amazing, with crisp vegetables accompanying the hash browns, sausages and mushrooms. A large cup of good coffee and a full glass of orange juice made it well worth the £10.99.
I will definitely return. The team running the place were lovely, with a real family vibe

As we were attending a family party in central Shrewsbury, we wanted to stay fairly close with parking. The Yak & Yeti was perfect for us: great location - only a short walk over the bridge into town.
We had the most amazing breakfast in the morning - exactly what we needed after a late night out!

Ideal stopover location close to public transport. Clean room and comfortable bed. Fair amount of noise from the kitchens until midnight. Couldn't stay for the breakfast I booked due to a family emergency and apologies for not flushing toilet but I didn't want to disturb other guests as it was 5am!!
