The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The food served in their restaurant is excellent. The bathroom in the deluxe room was a bit odd in terms of how the toilet was set relative to the shower but it was fine. The location relative to the temples and the main ghats of the river Ganges is ok but definitely not close enough to walk in few minutes. However, the price is definitely way too high for the location, type of rooms and the service. The quality of the duvet cover and bed covers was not good. It looked like it had seen several years worth of use. No channels were available on the TV. Even after mentioning it to the receptionist, only few random channels were provided. Also, we were surprised to find our room not cleaned when we arrived back later in the day. When we mentioned this to the receptionist, we were told because we hadn't asked them for it and that we took the key with us and that if some item got lost we would blame the staff (fair given that there are unscrupulous people who do this fraud). But seriously! Every hotel has a master key. Secondly, they should have mentioned about the request for cleaning when we were checking in.

The hotel is not how it looks in the pictures and very poorly maintained. Very impolite staff. Hotel was not able get the booking from Expedia , they made me wait for several hours before giving the room. They did not honor the price from Expedia and charged more. Hotel property is not worth the price

Satisfied with my stay at Vedangam. Staff was courteous, Food from Vasudha restaurant was good. Overall I would suggest this hotel. Con: Shower area water flooding into other areas of the bathroom. They can do something about it.
