Check-in was unfortunately a terrible experience due to a supposed supervisor at the front desk who clearly lacked humility and customer service skills. Thankfully, another staff member helped resolve the situation and the experience improved a lot after that. Everything became even better when we met Manuel! An amazing host and an even better person. He was always willing to help and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. He truly made us feel like we were staying at the best resort in Punta Cana. People like Manuel are exactly what a resort at this level needs. Hopefully one day he becomes a Supervisor or Manager because employees like him make a huge difference. Thanks Manuel!

Our room with the swim out pool was great. Having the option for a low key swim was nice. The smaller pool was great and where we spent most of our time. Able to get chairs with an umbrella everyday. We have being in several AI hotels in Cancun and the Caribbean and this one without a question is at the top of our list. The staff is awesome, we can´t name one person who wasn´t nice to us. Kudos to the entertainment team, they will keep you busy the whole day with a bunch of activities. And the girls at the kids club, they are amazing, it shows they just love working with kids. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. The beach was very nice. The buffet and the "a la carte" restaurant also good but ask for suggestions since some are better tan others. We are already planning on going back this summer!!

I'm sure the kitchen is not being cleaned properly, we ordered room service on our anniversary night and the plates were brought to us with roaches on it.
