The Tradewinds was the perfect spot for a Rockaway beach getaway. Our room had an awesome view of the ocean, and the beach was just steps away. The room was clean, the maid service was excellent and the owner of the property gave the best customer service I have experienced. Had no issues parking, and the shops in Rockaway are a short walk away. Can’t wait to go back!

Tradewinds was a great stay! The staff was so friendly and helpful. The room was clean with the maids willing to come in daily and supplies stocked as needed. We loved our time on the balcony overlooking the ocean and enjoyed the waves all night long. The facility is still affordable compared to other offerings which have skyrocketed.

We had a wonderful stay! Clean, comfortable and you can't beat the views. Especially loved that the kitchen was stocked with quality tools like stainless steel pots with lids, nontoxic pans and a great knife collection. Highly recommended and can't wait to visit again soon!

This place is amazing! From the second we got there Neil made us feel like we were home. Very hospitable and inviting. The care of the property including the flowers and plants that greet you when you pull into the parking lot top notch. Easy access to the beach, wonderful view of the beach. Everything we were looking for on our trip. Only place we want to stay when we go to the coast.

The property is older but nice and clean. Our room was small but comfortable. Shower had great water pressure and got nice and hot. Our room didn’t have an ocean view but had easy access to the beach and was reasonably priced. One thing that would be appreciated is more than 2 Pillows on a queen bed.

The room had a great view out to the beach with a couple outdoor chairs. Very quiet. Did not hear any of our neighbors and the hotel appeared to be full. Wish the fireplace had been working.

The whole experience was awesome. The room was very nice and big. They had all the amenities you could want. Like a little mini kitchen , microwave, refrigerator, toaster, coffee pot, and everything you needed to cook with.. the balcony was great stairs led down to the beach. Will definitely be going back there again. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience definitely 10 out of 10.👍

Delightful room with great view. We're older so the steps were a bit of a pain, but the room was worth it. Location was O.K. with nearby food, but the "kitchen was well enough equipped to make just about any meal.Plenty of parking, but Shade parking was limited. due to delays in registration we were "given" a king upgrade. Didn't mention we lost discount so paid more. If we returned we'd probably stay here again

The location is superb. The cost for the ocean view is worth it every time! Parking is easy and secure. We love staying at The Tradewinds. When Neal (the owner) has his flower baskets up, there is no prettier location between Canon Beach and Newport.
