Nice hotel in a great location. We had the smallest room, which was fine for us, we travel light. Some might find it challenging though. But, super happy with our choice, would definitely stay here again!

Comfy Beds, Terrible QR Code

The beds were comfortable and the shower had just the right amount of water pressure, however the breakfast was unimpressive. Also, the hotel provided a QR code as opposed to a room key, and the elevator often did not text the QR code which made it difficult to get access to floors.

Walls are a little thin but everyone's pretty quiet, make sure to double check room size, got a queen size bed in the smallest room, so there was hardly walking space especially after putting in our luggages. Just make sure to double check the size before booking, but if you're looking for an affordable and clean location this is the place to go. Just don't forget to bring your own toiletry amenities, they are available for purchase in the shared laundry, exercise, and dining room.

New Blanc Front Desk Staff Members are great.I want to communicate to Travelers about their excellent customers service and helping us make our stay better and enjoyable. Had a lovely stay. Room was great. Took ages to get to the hotel from the airport in the morning due to traffic and we were unable to have an early check in, so we had to wait until 3pm to get into our room after a very long journey. We were inconvenienced when we were unable to get the shuttle back to the airport during early hours and the trains didn’t run until later than we needed, so had to pay for a private taxi which wasn’t cheap. Other than transfers, this was an ideal stay.

New and modern hotel, but small room

We were on our honeymoon and chose unironically the "Cozy Double" room. It was very tiny unfortunately, with just enough room for two suitcases on the floor. There were a foldable luggage chair in the room luckily, so that one of the suitcases could stay on top of that. But I would recommend a bigger room if you are staying here as a couple. We are small people and we struggled a bit, so this would not work for mid-size/large people. So that is why there is a three star on comfort. Also because the pillow was too large and hard for my taste, but the bed was just perfect soft and comfy. The hotel is quite new and modern, and has very chic interior and rooms. Helpful staff that spoke good English. Mainly they offer self check-in, but they gladly assist upon arrival. I really liked that they had many services, like laundry, kitchen and gym. It was very quiet ans sound proof room, and not much traffic in the street below. Not a soul in the rooftop terrace on a Saturday night, so don't expect this to be a lively party and social hotel. Which was mainly good for us. Convenience stores like GS25, CU and 7/11 were all close by, but for global ATM, go to Woori Bank right across from the hotel. Luggage storage was helpful, and the 6015 airport bus comes and goes right down the road. If you're at the Incheon airport, simply choose bus ticket for Jungdu Office bus stop, and you will be right next to the hotel. It takes around 01h 40 min, so plan accordingly.

Quick stay of practicality

Just a short one night stay and wanted to stay near myeongdong. Not a lot of things to see/eat right near the hotel. It did have a 7-Eleven right next to the hotel. The lobby with the cafe was welcoming and the people in the reception were super friendly. Room was comfortable but on the small side but everything was new. The lounge was large but nothing exciting. Ideal for eating takeout with a group. Can’t beat the price for the location and ideal for younger travelers.

Self check in was nice. Overall the rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Just a bit further from the main Myeongdong area. Which might not be a bad thing for some. I just wished they had paper towels in the communal kitchen to clean up any spills. But I understand that tourists will probably abuse that. Also it would be nice if the dishes in the kitchen had a proper drying rack instead of just stacking the plates. That way the washed dishes can be dry when the next person uses them.

It is actually a few subway/bus stops away from the actual Myeongdong central area, but there is a bus stop in front of the hotel, turned out to be very convenient to go to the airport or other places. The only thing I really hated was the extremely poor insulation. I could hear perfectly when upstairs residents were walking around, taking shower or using the toilet. I have stayed in a 100year old building in NYC and the insulation was way better than this.i couldn’t sleep at all for 4 nights…it was like sleeping in a dorm rather than an individual hotel room..

Our flight arrived early, and we got to the hotel around 8 AM. While I had requested early check-in in advance, we were told no rooms were available and that there would be a fee if one became open. Standard check-in is at 3 PM, though we were advised to return around 2 PM. The staff held our luggage, which was helpful. When we finally got into our room, it was noticeably different from the photos shown during booking—somewhat disappointing. That said, over the next few days, the staff became more approachable and helpful when we had questions. The hotel is quite far from the attractions listed online—what’s advertised as a 10-minute walk usually takes closer to 30. Still, the property itself is clean, and the area is quiet, which we appreciated. Overall, it was a decent stay. A bit more warmth from the staff at the start would’ve gone a long way, but we might consider staying again for the peaceful location.

clean, brand new hotel

Location: Walking distance to major subway lines 2, 3, 4, 5!! So I could easily go to anywhere in Seoul. Service and room: 24 hr concierge with professional staff speaking English. They have separate lounge which serves snacks and others. Room is brand new(they said they opened this month). Bed is super comfortable and the room is really quiet when you close the window. I usually don't sleep well in hotels because of the bedding and noise but I slept very well here. The room may seem a bit tight but it didn't bother me since I slept well, and I enjoyed spacious lounge while working on my laptop on the 18th floor. Big TV in the room was definitely a plus. Others: They have currency exchange machine on the lobby floor! Serves free coffee at the checkin counter in the lobby (the ones you get from coffee shops like Starbucks) Price: Considering overall experiences, it will be hard to beat this price around Seoul. Overall: 100% recommend. Will visit again.

New Blanc Central Myeongdong opened December, 2024 so place is very clean and modern. Check in counter is on the second floor lobby which is nicely decorated. Their rooms are fairly small, so do check the size of the rooms before you pick the room for booking. The Cosy Double, the cheapest and smallest room, is only "118" sq ft and next level is Standard King, which is "151" sq ft. I am a solo traveler and booked Superior King which is "172" sq ft. I think even Superior King will be tight for two people. For the comparison the cheapest and smallest room at other boutique hotels in Seoul are around 226 sq ft and priced a little higher than rooms at New Blanc Central. The area the hotel is located in is one subway stop away from bustling Myung-dong so the area is very quiet and safe. My room was quiet and bed was cosy. My Superior King room is good enough size for one person but there is no closet to put my stuff away. There are hooks with hangers on the wall but those are not enough to unpack your luggage. In the shower there are shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. You have to bring your own "body lotion" and "shower cap" etc. Overall I like this hotel even though rooms are small. My main focus to choose a hotel was reasonable price, cleanness and modern style. This hotel is stylish boutique hotel.

Great hotel. The only small issue was it was a bit outside of the main areas of Seoul. Hotel staff was quite nice. On 18th floor we could always get free coffee, the and water and on 19th great view and a bit of air befpre going out
