This motel is a very mixed bag. On the plus side, the location is ideal: close to the park, right next door to a gas station and convenience store, and just down the road from the ghost town and its restaurants. The staff are friendly and helpful, and you can sit in an outdoor lounge area out front and watch the sun go down over the rock formations. But the room leaves something to be desired, although it is clean and nicely furnished. The bathroom is tiny and old, the floors creak ominously when you walk on them, and the air conditioning is noisy.

The place was clean and overall a good fit for being in Big Bend. The beds were a little firm, but everything else was comfortable enough. The staff was super nice and helpful, which made a difference. Nothing fancy, but it worked well for the location and we had a good stay.

L'hôtel est placé a quelques kilomètres de l'entrée du parc et de terlingua ghost town. Les lits sont confortables. La salle de bain n'est pas très grande. On peut se garer devant la porte de la chambre👌 Réfrigérateur, micro-ondes et cafetière fournis. Café offert à l'accueil.. distributeur de glaçons. Des tables sont mises à disposition autour de l'hôtel ce qui est pratique pour manger. Petit déjeuner possible, moyennant un supplément (nous ne l'avons pas testé) dans le bâtiment annexe qui fait aussi supérette. La laverie qui est située dans un autre des bâtiments, n'est pas ouverte tous les jours et seulement de 10h à 17h (accueil très moyen). Pas top quand on a randonnée toute la journée... dommage. Pas de wifi dans la chambre, il faut aller à l'accueil. L'hôtel est à la porte du "désert" il y a donc pas mal de sable. La moquette dans la chambre peut poser problème pour les personnes qui ont des soucis respiratoires. Station essence juste devant.

Clean room until we tracked in sand. A rug at the door or a room to sweep up would be helpful. Air conditioning and ceiling fan worked well. Bring your own hairdryer. Shops and gas nearby. Close to Big Bend National Park.

Walls were paper thin, sounded like the people next door were literally walking in our room. The bathroom was tiny, the toilet was made for a 6 yr old not an adult. Would not stay there again.

Room was clean but could have used larger nightstands and definitely needed more outlets to plug in devices for charging. Also would have been nice to have a small closet with a few hangars to set out clothes for the next day. Microwave and small fridge was definitely a plus some other places did not have on our stay that week. Also very close to the entrance to Big Bend park which was nice.

Great location for the park. Clean rooms and excellent staff upon sign in. Would have preferred better access to lobby/ice/etc, and maybe an offer to clean the rooms. But overall I’d recommend as a good hotel

Place was in a great location and easy to get it in and out of the park and also close to starlight theater and other places to eat. Highly recommend Big Bend Station. We will be back.

Great place to stay. Close to Big Bend NP. Staff here is awesome- they make you feel at home. Rooms are in "ok" shape. Price per night is very high for the room you get... But it's right near the NP... I feel the price per night should be lower- for what we paid, breakfast should also be included...

Great stop for our last day in the Big Bend region. The check in staff were excellent, kind, and welcoming. When asked for our LP, they recognized we were military and reminded us they offered a military discount. I had forgotten to tell them when we arrived. This is a perfect place to rest when arriving after a long drive, and/or rest before getting on the road for a long drive home!
