The Windmoor Lodge is a cute and cozy place for an overnight stay. The linens were clean, and the bathroom was also very clean and well-maintained. A couple of small improvements would make the stay even better. I wish there were blinds or some type of privacy covering on the bathroom window. It would also be helpful to have clearer instructions for the outdoor amenities. We tried to use the fire pit but couldn’t find anything to help get the fire started, and when we finally got it going, it only stayed lit for about 10 minutes. Overall, it was a nice and comfortable place for a short stay.

A fantastic spot to stay! Looks to be recently updated. It has a great common space in the back with lots of amenities. The staff were also super helpful and accommodating.

AC was broken in two of three rooms we tried. Strong smell of Febreze in two rooms we tried. Febreze was sprayed into AC units. Stayed one night because it was to late to travel home. The smell was so bad could not sleep in the room. We left the next morning we will not return.

The Windmoor was so cute! The amenities here were incredible too. It was easy to find, access, and had everything we needed. The only thing that kept it from a 5* rating was the amount of earwig bugs we had to kill upon arrival (no exaggeration, 30+). I'm sure they'll fix this though. Beyond that, it was a perfect place to stay, and would highly recommend staying there!

It was the off season apparently as I was one of the only guests, if not THE only one. The room was nice. In the morning, I was cooked a fresh hot breakfast since they weren’t having the buffet due to so few guests. It was great! I only stayed for one night as I was just passing through, but everything was wonderful!

We were surprised to see a room full of earwigs - probably 30+ had to be killed upon our arrival. I think the team just needs to spray the perimeter with some bug spray, and then the place would be perfect! Room was nicely updated and comfortable for our family of four.

We loved the retro vibe and clean space. Self-check-in and communication with the hosts were simple and friendly. We were in town for a wedding, so we fought over the single small mirror getting ready, but overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Hot Tub was a good temperature (despite outside air temp being only 8 degrees). Pathway to hot tub was nicely clear despite the snow and ice in the area. Clean room. Comfortable bed. WIFI worked great.

If youre not a people person this place is perfect. Never had to talk to anyone. Lol! It was very nice and clean and peaceful. Had a cool vibe to it, being a modernized old school motel. Id definitely stay again.

Perfect Place

Staff was very helpful & friendly. I had My Mom 89 years old you just walked right into the room very clean and it had a beautiful back yard with some paths. Picnic tables hot tub & sauna . It was very easy for her to get around with her walker. We will be back. Also dog friendly. I wish i would've taken pictures.

From the outside, looked like an old roadside motel. However, inside, the space was very nicely appointed, updated, and very clean. Bed was super comfortable. A little cramped for two people, but efficient use of space. Had trouble getting the internet. Not many food choices in the area on a Monday night. But really nice and quiet at night.

Wonderful stay

The room and property were kept up very nicely. Very comfortable and clean room. However the shower specifically in the corners in the grout had black mold. So I would address that. I know it’s common with showers but it’s definitely noticeable and something to address. But I would 10/10 stay here again other than that.
