What an amazing stay!!! Your hotel was recommended to us by two sets of people. They were spot on. We had such a lovely room with a view over the gardens. Our evening meal was delicious as was our belly busting breakfast!!! The hotel is in a wonderful setting surrounded by beautiful walks. The staff were so friendly and made us most welcome. Thank you so much for such a peaceful yummy break.

Lovely old country hotel in an idyllic village. Was exactly what we needed after a busy day in Whitby and a long walk to Robin Hoods Bay along to coastpath. Staff were pleasant and helpful, room was a little hot but we were in the middle of a heatwave so to be expected. Maybe in the next refurb, air conditioning would be good. Otherwise lovely stay.

Staff very friendly & helpful, the room - although on the hottest day of the year so far, had a fan which with the windows open kept it very comfortable. So quiet it was lovely to be able to sit in the garden having both a pre & post dinner drink. Food was nice and hot and reasonably priced and a very good breakfast was included. Will definitely return.
