Under new ownership. I stayed there when the previous owner had it, this is my first stay with the new owners. The rooms appear to be "freshened up" its clean, beds are comfy. I could not get my Wifi to connect but my stay was very short and I just hotspotted my phone (no big deal) but.... The comp. breakfast is sparse and minimal muffins or something more than cereal would be nice. It's a good clean roadside motel

It is a budget motel next to highway 17. We were driving a 26 ft Uhaul with and autotrailer and it was perfect as there was an entrance and and exit allowing us to park and pull through. Breakfast is very limited. The room was clean and we slept well. We chose it because there was almost nothing available in Dryden and Kenora. What was available was way too expensive but the Northside Motel was reasonable.

Très bon endroit pour s'arrêter. Acceuil efficace. Chambre propre , lit confortable, salle de bain propre. Commodité microonde, frig., TV, Petit déjeuner simple et très convenable. Je donne un 5 étoiles pour les bonnes commodités de base nette et efficace et non pour le luxe. Qualité prix ok.

Very reasonable price. Had an outdoor bbq with a propane tank we used to grill a steak we bought in the town, tossed a bagged Cesar salad, and opened a bottle of wine. Enjoyed a beautiful meal and evening at the picnic table. Owner was extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Room was very clean. It even had a cot in the room without asking, full table and chairs along with kitchen to have a home cooked meal on the road.

We arrived a little early but were able to check in. Kenny was very welcoming, we received our key after checking in and wifi code. The room was very nice and clean, a bit small but it worked. There was water on the floor in the bathroom and realized there was a problem with the toilet. I went back and Kenny resolved the problem right away and cleaned up all the water. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. We took a quick drive around to the dock and beach which is very close. Also the Bigfoot statue and the inukshuk statue. There is a store and coffee/chocolate shop and LCBO very close. We enjoyed just relaxing in the sun outside our room after our drive. We had leftovers for supper so didn’t venture out for dinner. Breakfast was very limited, cereal, white bread,coffee, juice, and fruit and the seating area is very small but again it worked. Overall a pleasant stay.
