In the Middle of everything

Great location that is in the middle of everything. If you get a room on the main street, it can be loud on the weekends. Only request is I wish they had coffee available early in the morning.

It’s ok for what we wanted

A one night stay as were getting on a cruise ship the next day. The location is great if you want to stay in old San Juan. You can walk to just about everything. My hotel room was just ok. I paid $260 for a standard room. Very small, no windows, no furniture (other then a bed and 2 bed stands). Air Conditioning struggled, musty smell in the room, everything in the room felt damp. The bathroom was good, nice tv, and a comfortable bed. Very quiet in a very busy part of San Juan. The staff was excellent. I would stay here again, but will explore other options first.

Great hotel in the heart of Old San Juan.

I booked them in a pinch when my previous reservation was canceled. I did not regret it! This is a fairly new hotel in a restored historic building in the heart of Old San Juan. If you are looking for a reasonably priced, centrally located hotel in the heart of the Old City, this is your hotel. Look no further! The staff is super helpful and super proud of their hotel, and it shows. I will certainly be coming back!

Nice place but you will not get a hot shower

Everything was great except one thing that really kind of ruined everything, the shower water was always cold. No one can tell me that there was no hot water, because I easily and quickly got hot water out of the sink.

Best Hotel Experience Ever!!!

The Shopkeeper Mason, welcomed us when we arrived, carried our suitcases to the Front Desk, walked us to our room, served us coffee in the morning, and walked us to nearby attractions and restaurants The service was outstanding, the hotel newly renovated, and the location was perfect. The staff was always accommodating and friendly. On behalf of my family, thank you Mason, Gene, Edgar, and other Front Desk Staff, and Housekeepers. We will definitely be back.

Perfect for a short stay.

Very clean, comfortable bed, great price and convenient to all old San Juan. We stayed one night before a cruise and it was perfect to be able to see Old San Juan by walking out our door.

Super quaint!

The Armas Hotel is centrally located. The rooms have been recently renovated. We stayed in a very simple room but it was quite nice. The staff was friendly and super professional. They kept in contact with me via email to confirm checkin and if anything was needed from them. I would stay there again!

Low frills hotel in the best location

Low frills hotel in a great, great location! Everyone was very nice, respectful. The atrium at the center of the hotel was a little noisy from echoing voices and noises, but we brought a sound machine and slept fine. Would stay here again!

Perfect for a weekend trip

I stayed for a weekend. Being recently renovated, the room was quiet, clean, with nice towels and linens. My room did not have any windows, but with nice lighting, dimmable lamps, and good air conditioning, they were hardly missed. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. And the location in central Old San Juan makes it a perfect for the very walkable area. Would book again.

Learned more about Old San Juan, PR

Armas Hotel was in a great location. It is so close to Cat Alley, the castles, good food, walking below the wall and so much more. We paid extra for the balcony room and although it was really neat during the day standing on the balcony watching everything, I'm not sure we'd stay in that room again. There was a lot of urban noise throughout the night. When you're from a quiet town, it is very noisy. I would recommend ear plugs.

Un lugar bonito y céntrico. Si deseas caminar poco y que todo te quede a pocos metros, lo recomiendo. El precio realmente alto para lo que ofrecen, pero no me sorprende, PR tiene los precios de Dubai. Algo que contrasta es tema habitación; pequeñas, sin ventanas, un espacio reducido que solo permite llegar y dormir. El baño muy limpio y todo perfecto excepto las almohadas, cada vez que nos apoyábamos en ellas salía un olor apestoso, se vuelve desagradable el olor. Nos toco además una habitación que al parecer estaba al lado de donde se quedaba el staff del hotel, a toda hora la puerta siguiente a mi habitación se abría y cerraba durante todo el tiempo que estuvimos, haciéndonos sentir que era la puerta nuestra y cortándonos el sueno
