Fantastisk hyggelig mann som kjører deg med golfbil når du skjekker inn, eller møter på han når du er ute å går fra øst til vest. Romslige rom, med gode senger og med fine verandaer. Basseng ved Railay West siden lå fint til. Nydelig solnedgang derfra. Hotellet serverer ikke alkohol, men du kan ha med medbrakt, også til restauranten. De har både vinkjellere og vinglass. Perfekt beliggenhet på Railay. Kommer tilbake neste gang vi skal til Railay.

Stort rum i parhus med egen ingång. Husen låg i ett område med mycket träd och buskar som gav skugga. Restaurangen med mycket bra frukost låg på stranden i andra änden av hotellområdet. Fantastisk utsikt från restaurangen. 3 pooler finns på området och en fin sandstrand på västra sidan. En ännu finare strand finns på 15 min promenad avstånd. Inga bilar finns i den lilla byn, så det är lungt och skönt.

Vi hadde et veldig fint opphold på Sand Sea Resort og tilbrakte totalt 10 netter på fantastiske Railay Beach. Hotellet har en unik beliggenhet midt mellom Railay East og Railay West, med kort vei til den flotte veststranden og de vakre solnedgangene. Hotellområdet er nydelig opparbeidet med frodig vegetasjon, palmer og små stier som gir en rolig og tropisk atmosfære. Hotellet har tre gode bassenger, men det er noe begrenset med solsenger og plass, så mange reserverer disse tidlig på morgenen. Standarden på rommene varierer. Den delen vi bodde på bærer preg av slitasje og begynner å bli moden for oppussing, men dette påvirket ikke totalopplevelsen i stor grad. Frokosten er god og har et greit utvalg av både lokale og internasjonale retter. Personalet er svært vennlige, imøtekommende og hjelpsomme, og bidrar til en hyggelig atmosfære under hele oppholdet. Hotellet serverer ikke alkohol, men det er tillatt å ta med egen alkohol og nyte denne på hotellet. Railay er et spesielt og rolig område uten biltrafikk, omgitt av vakker natur og strender. Alt i alt hadde vi et fantastisk opphold, og beliggenheten og atmosfæren gjør at vi gjerne kommer tilbake.
