The fabric of the hotel was very good, then the problems came up mainly with the lack of service. First of all the Mexican restaurant the server had no idea about the dishes on the menu when asked what they were.
Then in the steak restaurant, my pet hate plates were being collected from table before everyone had finished eating and the server started asking what we wanted for dessert whilst my sister was again still eating her steak.
Finally after the steak meal we went to one of the bats for s few drinks as it was our last night and after two whisky’s I was refused a third. The female bartender was rude and very sarcastic and tried to give me water. I’m 66 and drank scotch all my adult life and never has it caused a problem. I felt I had to make an official complaint which I did. These three things show a lot of training is required at this resort.
