Amazing views. This place is about 15 minutes from Blonduos. Although they do serve breakfast here, there is NO dining option. You have e to go to town for food.

Saw a ton of people complaining they had to take their shoes off. When you realize this hotel caters to many fishermen, you understand they don’t want the dirt and mess tracked through the hotel. I thought it was a great idea. They had slippers there if you wanted them. The hotel has a wonderful sitting area and the staff was so friendly and accommodating. Loved the hot tub after a long day of driving. The dinner service had ended as we got there at the end of September and they were soon to close for the season. So the only downside was we had to drive into town for the only restaurant that was open. Other than that, I would highly recommend this hotel in season (and even out of season when open). It’s right on the river Blanda and it’s a wonderful place to unwind and enjoy the beautiful nature around you.

This was a one night stay and a change to the itinerary due to Ring Road washout. It was reasonably priced and available! It is a fishing lodge repurposed in the off season. The room was clean, small and dated but it got the job done. We didn’t stay for breakfast because we had a long day ahead of us. Quirky thing is taking your shoes off before entry the hotel.
