The hotel and the room is beautiful. Kaiseki dinner and the breakfast are both awesome. There is free shuttle bus between toba station and hotel.
However, as there is only one onsen place (which is having two hotsprings outdoor and one indoor), it was very very veryyyyyyy crowded like public swimming pool. We attempted twice after dinner time (9pm and 10:30pm) to visit there but both were full that we couldn't get into it. We could only enjoy the hotspring before dinner and before breakfast time. The hotsprings has pearl powder which is quite special.
Pls consider to build one more onsen at least.
Great service and great room. It all started from a cheese cake and green tea while your check-in. I liked the room with tatami and western beds. In-room bathroom is roomy. My wife did not like public onsen, but she enjoyed the bathtub in the room quite much. In term of its public onsen, I found it is very enjoyable. Hotel said the outdoor onsen has pearl powder in it and it is good for the skin. I don't care if it is true. I simply like its atmosphere.
One reminder -- there are some good restaurants in the Toba city center, but there is very few restaurants in the walking distance from the Hotel. You may need transportation from the hotel. Don't drink and drive.
