En av de bästa hotel jag besökt. Otrolig service. Kvinnorna i köket med sin underbara ekologiska mat som smakade ljuvligt. Frukost med omelett, scramble eller pannkakor plus juicer, fruktsallad, yourhurt egen granola.

O hotel é uma delícia, charmoso, os quartos amplos, muito limpos, chuveiro quentinho e uma vista linda. Fica perto de tudo mas de forma que não escutamos barulho, garantia de uma noite tranquila de sono. O café da manhã é um destaque, tudo caseiro é feito com muito amor pela Juanita e a Marlene que são muito dedicadas e nos tratam com muita gentileza! Também jantamos uma noite no hotel e a comido estava maravilhosa, molho de tomate caseiro e muito bem temperado e a sopa de frango que pedi deliciosa. O único cuidado que deixo para o hotel seria dar uma atenção especial dos jardins que são lindos mas estava faltando manutenção. Com certeza recomendamos e voltaríamos.

Great location but bad wifi/room quality

The location of El Balcon is excellent - within walking distance to the Plaza de Armas and lots of stores along the way. The garden was beautiful and the breakfast was tasty. The staff was helpful and accommodating - they allowed us to drop off our bags at the hotel early (before checking in) so we could go explore the city without lugging things around. The issues that we had was that it was very cold at night (they did provide a space heater that helped a little) and there was only wifi reception in the lobby. The vent window for the bathroom was broken, so we had a very wet and humid bathroom and our things would not dry. We were supposed to stay in this hotel for an additional 3 nights but decided to find somewhere else to stay.

This hotel was beautifully restored and maintained. It is in a great location - close to the city's plaza - which makes walking around and exploring Cusco great. There is also a full jug of clean water in the lobby at any time, which allows for easy drinking. The staff was accommodating and kind, and allowed us to store our bags during the Incan trail.

The moment I walked into this hotel, I knew I made the right decision! The staff was so welcoming, kind, and eager to share some knowledge of places you may need and want to see in the area. It is right near El Plaza de Armas, making it super accessible to everywhere you want to see. The gardens they had in the centre of the the hotel, with the rooms surrounding it were gorgeous and a welcome place to relax, start and end your day. The complimentary breakfast bar, as well as having eggs or pancakes made on demand the way you like it was the best way to start the day! Breakfast starts at 6am, which is great if youre doing any daytours, as they primarily start very early in the morning. Highly recommend choosing this hotel for your trip to Cusco, you will not be disappointed!

This property is stunning. We stayed 3 nights at a 5 star prior to a trek, and stayed our last evening at El Balcon when we returned to Cusco. We are already planning our next trip and this hotel is our first choice. We stayed in 18, the balcony suite on the corner. The fireplace was loaded and set up when we arrived and the room was gorgeous. The decor was STUNNING. The shower was hot and water pressure was fantastic. The breakfast was delicious. Fresh juice, amazing guacamole, homemade butter and jam. The staff were the most thoughtful people we’d met in Peru. We felt very welcome. Can’t recommend this hotel enough.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Cusco! Beautiful place and lovely helpful staff! Very walkable distance to the main square but just far enough away to be a quieter area. Also a nice walk/hike from the hotel to the ruins!
