First. I was unable to message the host via hotels.com. took several attempts to contact via whatsapp and phone to actually get through to him. This property needs to be advertised that is is a room only and that the area for coffee is shared. The third bed was not set out in readiness for us and we gad to get code to unlock closet. Info should have been provided with check in. Also reviews state that rooms were serviced daily. It needs to be made clear in advertising that this is not so.

StaySmart Termini was just that very smart. It’s right across the street from Roma Termini station and made our trip very easy. Not to mention the staff has great communication. We let them know we were arriving early and they were able to accommodate us. Would highly recommend this place to stay when in Rome.

Just okay

We booked this stay for its proximity to the train station for an early morning train, and it was literally across the street which was helpful. However if proximity to the station isn’t a need for you I probably wouldn’t recommend. Overall the area is not great and a good 20-30 min walk to the closest attractions. The “smart” key features were inconsistent and we had to end up calling to be remotely let in which wasn’t convenient (though the host was responsive!). My biggest issue was the cleanliness in the bathroom; the shower was rather moldy. One other thing was that our room was advertised as a triple with 2 beds and only had one. For our purposes it didn’t matter as it was only us, but if you’re traveling with more that may be an issue.
