The space is nice, clean and comfy however it does feel uncomfortable when you’re on the level with the kitchen and your bathroom door is outside of the room and you have to peak out of your room to run to your designated bathroom.

Too good to be true

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. I should've known it was too good to be true. Suggestions, Front gate was a challenge but doable. Maybe figure out a better way. Had to park sometimes 2 blocks away in this shady neighborhood. Parking is terrible! No paved walkway to my unit. Had to drag my suitcase across wood chips. Thermostat is for the entire floor. So if I wanted it cooler, it made the other guest unit cooler. They would make it warmer and I would wake up in a sweat. No tv, iron, fridge in-room. Will never stay there again.

It was just like the pictures but I just wish it was more clean. There were stains on sheets and furniture that were questionable to us. Communication was great though. Just bring your own cleaning supplies if you like cleanliness.

Not a very good experience

I don’t often write bad reviews, but this place needed it First off the place was clean and the house manager was very communicative, but hard to understand When I got there at 12 AM, I was unable to enter the property. They did not give me the gate code to enter. Then I got in to find out there was no elevator, and I was on the third floor. I would’ve known that I would not have stayed there. I have a handicap. I then found out it was a shared air conditioning unit between multiple units. I was unable to control the air conditioner. and I wasn’t able to control it therefore was hot all night long. When I went to take a shower this morning, it was a trickle coming out of the faucet. As for parking, I needed to park two blocks away because there was no parking outside the property. Then it was street cleaning day and almost got a ticket. I am planning on disputing the charge for a misleading advertisement related to the air conditioning.

Great Place Horrible Parking

It was a pretty good stay and very nice room and place overall was very clean and nice the parking is HORRRIBLEEE THOUGH we could never ever find street parking we had to park two blocks down bc of how bad it was first night we almost couldn’t even find a spot it was so frustrating made us so hesitant to leave at the risk of losing any spot we found

Great Place but make sure you read the fine print.

Every picture is true and correct. But, just to be aware. Parking is on the street, this property is surrounded by apartments, so street parking is challenging. Additional I did not have a tv in my room, it was located in a common area. I didn't notice until I left the property but the control for the air-conditioning control was located outside of my room. It was electronic and the dial read locked. Luckly my room was on the third floor, and I was able to open the window to get some breeze.

Very clean and spacious common area, large TV with subscription. Room and private toilet is also very clean and bed is comfortable with large full length mirror. The building is a bit hard to find with limited street parking. The place is walking distance to McDonald’s and 711, with around 10-15 minutes drive to Universal Hollywood. The neighborhood is not that peaceful, we’ve been there two days and can hear police siren on a lot during the night and someone bamming aggressively on the apartment door at 6AM. But overall its value for price and an awesome place for short term stay.

I probably wouldn't be staing here again

Not sure if i would be staying here agin... we did have an issue, which we did get video and pictures and i almost want to post the here. The response at first was that of defwnsive in my opinion bit when it occured again tgw second day, there tone change. The only wanted to give us 100 usd, even tbougb our total cost was about 600. It also appeared that the would only give this if i dis t leave a bad review at least that is how it came acorss. It was close to universal and stuff but yeah, not usre if i would be staying here again

The Gilmore is a Queen space that feels like a cottage or a small home. It’s definitely a good place to stay if you are on a budget and want somewhere that’s clean.. they could improve on accessibility and keeping the common area more organized and clean.

An apartment turned into a hotel. Not in a great neighborhood. Parking is a pain. Very limited street parking as everyone who lives in this area parks on the street. The room is nice and clean. The common area is nice.

The room itself was clean but on the site it stated that the living room was a common area. It did not include the kitchen, which I was not advised of until the day before when I received an email from a property representative. I was still willing to check it out but honestly Ididn't feel comfortable staying. The common area was very small. The parking was terrible and the neighborhood was sketchy with couches thrown on the sidewalk. I'm sorry but I would not book this property again

Parking was horrible, I went out to eat someone took my parking and I had to park around the corner in the dark. Too many codes to access the room. Room felt warm at night and no AC, there was only less than half of toilet paper and being a female I obvious use more. No TV so take a laptop or something to keep you entertained. Plugs were located in a very ackward position to lay in bed and charge your device. Room was ver clean, bed was really comfortable, quiet room.

Very nice and quiet, needed a very nice rest for few days and this was just the perfect spot, all amenities were accommodating to my needs and if there was an issue the owner will always be attentive and work with me to resolve it, parking is an issue as there is just street parking but that’s about the only complaint I had other than than the house, space clean, peaceful, exactly what I needed.
