We spent 2 nights here and had dinner on two nights we were 2 adulfs and two kids the facilities the rooms and the staff were excellent i would give this hotel 10 out of 10 and will definitely be back again

The check in was easy and staff friendly. One thing that their website does not state is, if you want to use their pool you mandatorily need a hair cap. If you dont have one, you can buy one from a few Euros. The breakfast buffet was sub par, but the staff was excellent. I would like to call out Detty, she was exceptional and made our breakfast experience 10times better!

The Hotel was great, the staff were great. Overall a great experience. My whole family stayed here with me. We had booked in advance, and it happened to be when there was a very serious storm in Ireland, so we were without power at home, and the hotel had no power, but their generator was working, so they still accepted us, which was great. Couldn't fault the staff, they were all excellent. The pool wasn't open, which is understandable when there is no power, which was a minor disappointment for the kids, but we all still had a great time.

Great facilities for my children, loved the pool and indoor play centre. A little walk around there fairy garden was pleasant. They got free tubs of ice cream every day or two and loved that little treat from hotel. Food was delicious in restaurant but very expensive. Rooms was very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Enjoyable stay spoilt by unacceptable service

Four of us stayed for two nights and dined in the restaurant on both occasions. The food was good on both occasions and the service equally so on the first evening. On the second night, my sister-in-law advised the staff that she had an allergic reaction to strawberries, and the barman made the effort to produce a cocktail without them. So far so good. When it came to the dessert, my sister-in-law ordered apple pie with custard. It arrived with strawberry garnish and jus, none of which was indicated on the menu. She asked for it to be changed, a d the replacement dish arrived without the custard and still with the strawberries! The error was politely pointed out, and a third, dish eventually delivered by a waiter who threw the plate down and said 'there' in a harsh tone of voice. Completely unacceptable.

On the first night we had an adjoining room on the 2nd floor. Our daughter was woken by the family next door talking and shouting. There is no soundproofing, we could clearly hear the TV and snoring in the non adjoining room. My husband went to reception and they agreed to move us to a non adjoining room the following day which they did. We had to check out at 11:30 and wait for the room to be ready which is not something i have experienced previously when changing rooms. The local area has limited food options especially for an evening snack. The food in the hotel was nice however the menus displayed in the lobby were not the menus being used in the restaurant for example one evening we wanted a small snack, my husband went to reception to ask about room service. He was advised we could choose from the bar menu displayed, call reception and they would sort it for us. We decided to go to the bar and eat instead, when we arrived to the bar we were told their was no bar menu and it was the al la carte menu. My husband went back to the reception to clarify and was advised neither menu was correct and there was a separate menu because it was sunday. Very frustrating when trying to organise two hungry kids. On the first morning we attended breakfast at 8:40am, breakfast finishes at 10:30am. We finished eating around 9:15 and my husband went to get a pastry but there was none left. He asked the waiter who retunred and said they would not be refilled, people we still arriving.

The staff were all friendly and helpful. The pool had plenty of space and has family changing rooms. The bar food was lovely. The room was so hot but during the night i went to reception and the porter gave me 2 fans so we all slept well after that.
