First I would like to say the Hotel was very Beautiful. I do love the history of this hotel. I can see why someone would want their wedding here. The check in process could be better. I didn't feel comfortable sending someone my license via internet to check in. In this world with Data Breeches it's just not safe and I don't feel comfortable. So- it takes a little longer to check in at the desk, it's fine. The 1st room we had unfortunately, the air conditioner was not operating properly. The Staff concierge was so nice enough to move our room. The place was beautiful and spotless. We had everything we needed for a fun family visit. The gym was very well equipped, and a plethora of weights. I was very pleased. The staff was very kind and always welcoming. It was a pleasurable stay. We will visit again. Thank you.

Overall a really nice stay. However, the bed was too firm for me as I am a side sleeper. I ended up with hip and leg pain (I'm a guy with average to narrow hips) because it didn't give at all! The room was large, well laid out and furnished, and overall clean (but our feet got dirty from the vinyl flooring which needs to be mopped more often). Front desk staff were great, but understaffed (had to wait 15 minutes for someone to get the front door open and then checked in). Jordan was exceptional! Great location and very attractive property!

This is a beautiful, historic building, with nicely redone rooms. Great location for exploring downtown and the strip, close to bus station. Staff super kind and responsive. Parking confusing on first go, but convenient after understood. Our room was next to the train tracks--I had no problem but husband heard them roll through throughout the night. We got a deal via hotels.com webpage, presumably because the floor we stayed on was being repainted and the halls thus covered in plastic. It's clear they heard complaints in earlier reviews, as our room came equipped with an extra floor aircon unit, though we didn't need it due to lovely weather.

Yall I would stay here everytime if I could. The hosts were fantastic and so helpful, the room was immaculate and had a washer dryer which really changes a long trip for the better. Only issue is parking. GPS will take you to a back parking lot connected to Amtrak. You cannot get in from there without help. Main parking is up a hill then underground and hard to find or get to then at least fifty a night. Rather absurd. You cannot park our back and use back entrance by Amtrak once you check in and get codes but the door don’t always work. So just save the number listed on that unmarked back door. The ladies up front are very kind and helpful and can let you in.

This hotel was amazing. Located in a really convenient part of Pittsburgh youre able to walk around downtown and minutes away from the casino. Our room was spacious and very clean.
