Friendly and helpful owner and staff. Had some wonderful conversation with the owner and other guests. We loved access to the patio and the gazebo. The beautiful landscape didn’t hurt. Digital code access to room was much appreciated, as was the coffee and rolls in the a.m.

Very clean and quiet property. The owner/proprietor was nice and helpful. We were on a weekend get away to bike the trails nearby and loved the bike barn especially. A great place to stay for sure.

Totally charming in a beautiful setting on the Root River. The gardens were gorgeous and the host Brian was friendly and welcoming. We had a comfortable room with 2 queens a fridge and freezer and very spacious overlooking the River. Easy to get around Lanesboro one of our favourite away travel spots. Highly recommend this property

Best place we have stayed at in years. Quiet, clean, reasonable priced, gorgeous grounds!!!!! . Brian was very welcoming as soon as we walked in. Only place we would stay again in lanesboro for another bike trip on the root river trail..thank you for great memories.

This was a perfect get away for our anniversary. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with inviting places to sit outdoors to enjoy the flowers. Our room was clean, quiet & spacious. Staff was pleasant & eager to help with details. Breakfast was basic: pkg. oatmeal, pkg. muffins, yoplait yogurt, juice boxes, & coffee. We would've appreciated a piece of fruit &/or healthier option but you could bring your own favorites to enjoy with coffee outdoors.

Large and comfortable room with a river view and surrounded by several well kept acres of lawn and garden. Walking distance to the well equipped small town. A very welcoming and knowledgeable host. Met other guests in the breakfast room. Just a fine place to stay in a great little town.

The property was stellar with well groomed gardens all around, grass cut and trimming done around everything. The staff was very helpful and accommodating to all our needs. The room was immaculate, the bed comfortable and everything was up to date. It exceeded our expectations in every way and I will be recommending The Green Gable Inn to those traveling to Lanesboro.

Green Gables in Lanesboro, MN is a GREAT place to stay. The property is beautiful & well kept both inside & out. Self check-in allows for easy check-in, even if you will be arriving late. They have all you might need for your stay readily available such as extra towels or ice. Staff answers any questions promptly. There is a separate garage for easy & safe bike storage as well as a continental breakfast daily. It will be our first choice on our next trip to the Lanesboro, MN area!!

Being on the lower level, the floor boards above were loud when guests were walking around. It was nice having a balcony but a little awkward sharing it with the next room. Breakfast starts at 7:30 am which is a little late for early risers since there are no coffee makers in the rooms. Besides that, the place is beautiful and I would not stay anywhere else. Next time I will request a regular queen room on the 2nd floor and stock up with coffee the night before. See you again next year!
