This is in a stunningly well-restored old mill building right on the Kennebec River. The rooms are big and bright. The restoration's level of detail is incredible. And the Birtgarten next door is excellent. Highly recommend.

Overall appearance updated and clean. We had difficulty checking in virtually. The room keypad would not accept the codes we were given. Spent about an hour in the hallway while waiting for remote staff to solve the issue. They ending up assigning us to another room and emailed a $25 gift card as a consolation. Room had a few other quirks, (too few towel bars, loose toilet seat) but was basically fine.

Very clean and nicely decorated. Kitchen could use a large pasta pot. Bathroom needs a light fixed. It was kind of dark. Bathroom door is very difficult to open and close.

This is the first time I’ve ever used a hotel with a virtual check-in and nobody onsite. Happy to say it was completely seamless! The hotel is brand new and beautifully appointed. I would’ve never guessed this was even here! Right next to downtown and has a restaurant onsite. Very clean and everything was great!
