This place was awesome. I travel a lot and this place was just a hidden gem. I am scared to give give it five stars because everyone will start discovering and I want to book for next fall or spring. The breakfast was excellent. Only 8 rooms. Overlooks Florence. The hosts were so nice. The host recommend a restaurant for in a small Villiage the first night. The steak Florentino in the village blew the steak in Florence away. We went for a quick weekend trip to watch MotoGP race. After staying here I will come back to just spend a relaxing week there in solitude. It was EXCELLENT. But please don’t book it when I want to go back.

This Isn't Just a Hotel, It's an Unforgettable Florentine Experience ​We knew the view of Florence was supposed to be good, but we were not prepared for how truly breathtaking it would be. Watching the sunset from our terrace, as the city slowly lit up below, was one of the most magical moments of our entire trip. It’s a view you dream about, with the whole of Renaissance history sprawling right in front of you. This view alone is worth the stay. ​But what made this an amazing experience, rather than just a stay at a hotel with a nice view, was the incredible staff. They were so much more than just "helpful." They were our local guides, our dinner reservation experts, and our daily source of smiles. Their attentiveness to detail was exceptional—from the perfectly arranged pillows at turndown service to the way they'd ask about our day and offer suggestions for the next. It’s this level of personal care that makes you feel not like a tourist, but like a treasured guest. ​If you are looking for a place that will capture the heart of Tuscany and treat you with warmth and meticulous care, look no further. We cannot wait to come back.

Hardly ever write a review, but this experience necessitated one. Tania and Tullio made us most welcome and we appreciated their service mindedness that whispered rather than shouted. They went the extra distance to make us feel at home. We had a lovely room: clean and atmospheric with a gorgeous view of Florence 20km in the distance with the city buried in its nest from the surrounding hills. On a clear day, we even saw the Duomo from the terrace. So, binoculars are a useful addition to your packing. Breakfast was outstanding with carefully selected Tuscan suppliers. The best agriturismo breakfast buffet I have had in many years of travelling; better than most hotels like the Hotel Paris in Florence, which we had just been to. Only issue is the gravel/stone road leading to the property. There are a couple ways up but only one which is manageable. It is still tricky though. I suggest phoning ahead to get an explanation on how to access the right road. We took the wrong one on the first day (suggested by Google Maps) and ended up struggling. Notwithstanding, all in all it was a wonderful, and more important, a memorable, three-night stay. Thank you Tania and Tullio: you were attentive, discreet, and informative hosts. Andrew and Vera

Abbiamo avuto qualche difficoltà nel raggiungere il castello, perché il navigatore ci ha diretti verso una strada boschiva, ma, nonostante questo, il soggiorno è stato perfetto. Panorama mozzafiato, struttura incantevole, silenziosa e personale molto gentile e disponibile. La colazione offerta è stata ottima e la stanza non presentava alcun difetto. L'unica pecca è l'assenza di un ristorante in struttura per la cena, essendo il più vicino a 15 minuti di auto e raggiungibile tramite una strada sterrata poco illuminata e agile di notte. Nel complesso, esperienza totalmente positiva e da ripetere.

Incastonato su una collina della valle del Chianti, il castello è aperto al pubblico solo da pochi mesi. Fa parte della Tenuta Ruffino, dove, al momento dovrete fare tappa prima di farvi accogliere da Ivan e Sanjia presso un castello senza tempo. Perfettamente ristrutturato ed impeccabile in ogni dettaglio. Silenzio, confort, pulizia e spazi sono unici. La colazione, ricca e di ottima qualità completa questo magnifico posto che sovrasta le colline e regala un panorama mozzafiato.
