The property was older than some, but overall very clean. There was a musty smell in the room but it was clean. For what I paid to stay there one night it was worth it. A little off the beaten path, so it was very quiet. I’d stay there again.

This was pretty good for a budget hotel. The area was very quiet and we got a good night's sleep. The air conditioning system did not do a good job of pulling humidity out of the air, so the carpet and bedding felt perpetually a little sticky though.

My boyfriend and I decided to go on an impromptu trip to Cedar Point, and wanted a cheap place to stay. Avalon Inn is really good for the price and was just what we needed. It's only a couple miles from the park, which is really nice as well. Highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a cheap place to stay while visiting Cedar Point.

Really great for the price. It’s no high end hotel, but if you just want a clean place to stay without breaking the bank, this is it. There are definitely some things that are a little old and slightly run down. However, it was VERY clean, comfortable, everything worked the way it was supposed to, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Honestly, compared to other budget hotels in the area, Avalon is a GEM. Highly recommend as a budget option.

New ownership at the property. They are working to get it up and running. It isn't a 5 star resort, we just slept there. The AC worked great, and room security is great. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel and will go back.
