Was shocked how much I paid for the room and had no water or robes to walk to and from the spa. However found the bed and pillows too firm but gorgeous living room and bedroom and his and hers sinks in the bathroom with also choice or bath or shower. Over all had lovely stay!

We travelled to Oxford for a break from city life and found this lovely hotel. The service was great on check-in. The bar service was also very good. Drinks were a little bit on the pricey side of things. Our room was lovely and well presented and we found the bed to be really comfortable. There was one issue however. at night the balcony lights would come on automatically, which meant light attempted to shine into the room. If I woke up early without looking at the clock, I think the Sun was rising.

Everything was excellent from start to finish. Our suite was really nice with a lovely comfortable bed and brilliant shower room. On entering the room we found it quite cold but once I turned on the air conditioning/heating it was cosy. All the staff were friendly and polite but their staffing levels were low. One thing which did spoil our stay was that the whole of the hotel was really cold, wherever you were. I didn't see any radiators apart from one small one in the corridor to the lift and that wasn't turned on either. The grounds and obviously the golf course were in excellent condition and there's a nice pathway in which you can walk around the perimeter of the golf course too. All the food was well cooked. As I travelled from the north west of England I found the prices of food and drinks were higher than expected but not excessively so, apart from the Guinness which was well overpriced. We didn't visit the spa on this occasion so no comments on that. All in all a very nice relaxing break.

This should be a three star hotel. The staff were nice and friendly, steam room was stinking, the breakfast was super basic, it was the worst breakfast I ever had, one egg, they didn't have sausages, two dry hash browns. The coffee tasted awful. I always look forward to the hotel breakfast and now I know why there were no photos of breakfast in here.

Arrived in our room, shower has a big crack in the shower tray. Swimming pool/spa area very tired looking, sky light roof filthy with algae and hole/ pant peeling off the walls. Ceilings dirty and over all cleanliness of the pool area not great. Definitely nothing like the photos. Breakfast ok but sausages were under cooked. Would I stay here again.. definitely not disappointed as it was a birthday trip away

Had an enjoyable 1 night stay in a suite. Was very good. The room was clean and warm, bed was comfy. Could have done with robes in the bathroom and very minor cosmetic things attending too. Parking was easy. But was well worth what we paid.
