The Bluebird is ideally located, right in the heart of Saratoga Springs' restaurants & cafes, and charming boutiques. The hotel was sparkling clean, our upgraded room was spacious and chic. Parking was free and convenient. The staff generously helped us with a phone charger and restaurant tips. A very well-run boutique hotel.

A charming small motel right downtown. Excellent location. Our room was nice sized. The common area was nicely done. Also with coffee, tea, cold brew and water. Staff was extremely courteous. Within walking distance to everything. It was quiet, except for whatever was happening in the common area. If they were courteous, not a problem. If not? It was like they were in your room with you! Prices were very reasonable.

This motel (more like a boutique style hotel set up like a motel!) was great. Really great coffee, ideal location, friendly and very helpful staff and very comfortable rooms with everything you need. I did not think the rooms were maybe quite as clean as they could have been (ie stains on a bedsheet and stain on a fabric bench, plus a little less clean in corners) and could have given 3 stars for that BUT gave 4 for cleanliness anyway as the beds and bathrooms were clean and those little details did not detract and the whole place was just so perfect in other ways. The sheets were so soft and beds were SO comfortable. My only suggestion is bring an eye mask if you like to sleep in the dark! We were very grateful we had ours - light from the hallway and street make the room less dark. All and all we loved this place and will absolutely want to stay here in the future whenever we come back to Saratoga Springs!

My wife was kinda hesitant when I told her I picked a motel in Saratoga Springs. I too was a little bit, with not knowing what to expect, never having heard of it, a lot of uncertainty. We've already decided that we want to come back to Saratoga Springs because the town is so cool and we plan to stay at the Bluebird because it was such a great place. The rooms were clean, the coffee was good, the rooms were cool. It gave off Moxy Boston vibes on a smaller scale. Staff were friendly and very helpful.

I stay at the Spa City Motor Lodge once a year. Every year I truly enjoy my stay. It is centrally located in the downtown area and I love the walkability to all of the shops and restaurants. The in-room refrigerator comes in very handy. One of the things that I love the most is the coffee station in the common area of the hotel. It is also so well equipped (even has almond milk) and very clean. It also has a still & sparkling water dispenser. This adds so much value to my stay. I would say the only downside is the acoustics of the building tend to make it noisy. I bring a sound machine and it works out fine. I like the modern style of the hotel and I feel I get a lot of value for the price.

As to the room, beds are fine but could use more updating such as a desk and chair for computer use, shelving for the mini fridge on the bottom and upper part of the shelving for accessories. The staff was friendly and helpful. the first room had a problem with the TV so they gave us a free upgrade. maintenance guy was super, when he figured out it was a wiring problem he made sure we got the upgrade. overall A rating and the location is amazingly convenient! Parking was an issue as we were not told about the 15.00$ extra charge for parking. We were told when we could not find a spot to park. That we could park in the parking garage. My problem was if we got back late we would of had no idea where to park. We ended up on the street for free and we asked for a refund which they did give a refund. I feel if parking in your lot we should not be charged, Other than parking it was a great location on trolly line and rooms were clean, Would stay again and would recommend it to others.

The best thing I can say about this place is it's location. Exactly where we want to be. Otherwise, I'm not sure. The rooms are small which I knew. Our room was directly across from the housekeeper's closet. Not so nice. The bathroom is horrendous. Clean enough, but unless you want to take a scalding shower there is NO water pressure. Often I thought it was going to stop all together. I know the lighting in hotel bathrooms is not great, but they don't even try. The personnel were great. I'm not so sure about next year.

If you are looking for a place to stay in Saratoga Springs, I highly recommend the Bluebird Spa City Motor Lodge. Other than the Adelphi Hotel, which is next door, there is no better location! Just remember to bring slippers. When the place was renovated, cement floors were very trendy. The staff is super friendly! And very helpful!!
