The property has improved over the years and the room was clean but I only met one staff person after hunting the property for him in the dark to get a room key. The office closes early and opens late so we never see anyone. You can contact Milton by phone and he’s great but if you don’t know that you are stuck.

Lovely stay at Hacienda Villa Sotomayor. The view of the mountains was beautiful. The rooms are comfortable and clean. We had a problem with the shower in our room and when the staff realized it wasn't fixable in a timely basis, management quickly assigned us a new and larger casita. All the staff we met were so gracious and hospitable. The grounds are well kept, the pool is maintained well and the convenience to sites is great.

I stayed in a nice cabin, a unit of four, that was very comfortable and quiet. There's space to walk, play ground for children, exercise room, and such. Breakfast was served at 9, was a very adequate meal.
