The manager was brilliant, service was great, breakfast good

Good room. As previous reviewers have mentioned, some of the instructions seem quirky but the people were friendly and helpful. If you're going to stay here, I highly recommend having a car -- not trying to use the bus system.

A nice clean and friendly place and very convenient for visiting friends in Cambridge

Clean and comfortable rooms. Good facilities for residents to use - including the public arts (kitchen and lounge). Great for groups to enjoy together. Great breakfast. Convenient for Cambridge,

Mediocre but comfortable

Cheap accommodation for a usually expensive area No welcome on arrival, a white board identifying which room key I need. Showers need some TLC, Nice setting, just don’t expect big things

Excellent location for exploring Cambridge. Linda made a super breakfast and was extremely helpful and informative. The room was very comfortable and clean. Excellent value for money.

The staff are very nice. The bathroom need a curtain as people outside can see from window.

Excellent. Without car; train ok (some delays and cancellations) to Cambridge. Walk to train - 15 minutes. Good Indian food across the road.

Nette hotel met behulpzame personeel.

Nette hotel vlakbij Cambridge. Jammer genoeg slechte verbinding ov en geen pub of restaurant in de buurt.

Near Duxford IWM

Close to wear we needed to be. Perfect for 2 adults and 2 children We stayed in 11 it was a converted garage, not much to look at from outside but inside was nice enough Staff were really friendly

Nice and affordable accommodation

It was a very nice stay. The location is just outside Cambridge with easy access. The check-in and check-out process was very convenient and we felt like home. A very nice breakfast was complimentary too. As a family of 4 we stayed in a big room with a private bathroom and a little kitchen, feeling really like home. Thank you very much !

charming b&b

We are a family of 4, we were late arriving at night and we had great and easy instructions to check in. We had a great and spacious room, lovely host, charming breakfast room and great selection (including a freshly brewed French Press coffee). Wish we could have stayed at least one extra night.

Quirky hotel

Lovely hotel pleasant manager only let down by traffic noise
Verified review

6/10 Good

4/10 Fair

There was no one available to check us in - just a note saying to take the key. No one available to turn to for help that afternoon and evening either. The night was warm and the room was uncomfortable - no fan offered. The curtains were thin and with dawn at 5 am, it made sleeping a challenge. The breakfast the next morning was good, but the manager who served it up was not especially friendly.

Nice Guesthouse

Lovely guesthouse, easy to fine. Pleasant staff and lovely room with comfortable beds and good size ensuite. Breakfast was lovely too

Disappointing

Very disappointed with the accommodation, and the location. The room was very shabby and carpet badly water stained from the bathroom. The room was lit up from the outside lights at night and the curtains made no difference. The pillows were dreadful and the bed sheets threadbear. The house was situated on a very busy main road which was very noisy. My husband missed having a sausage with the breakfast which is the usual thing for an English breakfast and we found it not to be very generous at all. Also the WiFi didn't work with the codes that were displayed.
