It’s a very affordable and convenient location. Very clean and up to date facilities. Convenient check in and the location is close to downtown. Was very pleasantly surprised. The staff were also very accessible. Appreciated that.

Everything was super clean and beautiful. We did wish there was cleaning services during our stay and better AC but thankfully my partner works with AC units and quickly cleaned out the filter and it worked amazing afterwards. A little pricey for sure and communication was difficult to get ahold of. Overall good experience.

Everything was okay. Arriving and parking at the place was a little confusing, and the instructions weren’t clear.

6/10 Okay

The inn is nicely designed and recently constructed. However, not enough attention was paid to sound proofing. The wooden stairs outside the room door were very noisy any time someone was outside. The sound of footsteps in the room above was very loud. If anyone in the inn is partying, you will know. I needed earplugs to sleep.

While the virtual front-desk is quite slow, the employees are very friendly and helpful if you contact them via the provided phone number. Super clean inn. Had an amazing time. Would recommend.

We stayed in the deluxe loft room and it was really lovely. We very much appreciated the air conditioning as the temperature outside was in the 30s! Beds were very comfortable and it was good to have a proper fridge, oven and coffee maker. The bathroom was spotless and the shower was very good, not just a dribble of water like a lot of places! Cabbage town is a vibrant, diverse community with lots of options for eating out. We particularly recommend Kibo Sushi. The only downside is that it takes 45mins to walk to downtown, although by walking along Carlton to College it is easy to jump on the subway. Other than that we would highly recommend it. Very good value for money.

The check in process and some of the check in details didn’t match the listing information, but we were able to call the manager and sort out check in over the phone and in person. The unit is very clean and well located. Noise level from the stairwell was very loud, but forgivable as we were very comfortable on our stay. I would book again for price, location, and cleanliness.

6/10 Okay

Property seems wide and spacious in photos but we had everything we need even though it’s small in personal. I didn’t like the roof window as sunlight directly hit our bed. The staff was a bit off, smells like alcohol and almost took a pic of my credit card cvv. Also, very unresponsive host.
Marlon, 2-night trip

2/10 Terrible

Bed sheets, towels and cups were dirty, the view was totally different from pictures, no parking and no information about the difficulty to park in Toronto at night time. Staff not nice and not welcoming. Only one of us could enter the building freely. No shutters so very shiny on the morning. WiFi not working. Worst experience ever.
Virginie, 2-night trip

4/10 Poor

This is not a hotel, it's an INN. It's cheaper compared to other hotels in that area, but you'll definitely get what you're paying for. The CONS: It doesn't have all of the amenities you'd expect from a hotel such as a fridge and microwave. Hygiene is passable, but the bed sheets could be cleaner. The portable AC makes so much noise, and the walls are so thin, you can hear everything your neighbours are saying or doing. The fixtures and furniture just feel cheap and hurriedly put together. The PROS: The INN has reasonable security, the person in charge is responsive to requests, and the surrounding area is perfect. It has all the stores, groceries, cafes, restaurants, ATMS, you could possibly need within walking distance.

4/10 Poor

In an interesting though somewhat seedy neighborhood, this older building is newly carved up into furnished apartments. Everything is brand-new. Comfortable platform beds. Fully functional microwave, dishwasher, oven (but without any pots/pans!). Excellent tub/shower. Ours was a third-floor walk-up apartment (no elevator), with a balcony overlooking the lively street below. There were black-out curtains on the west-facing windows, but nothing on the balcony door to the east, so forget about sleeping late - morning sunshine floods the bedroom at sunrise. There was a door separating us from the unit directly below ours. The door was locked, but paper-thin, and we could hear every word that was spoken down there. Two nights in a row, the guests in the downstairs apartment began partying at 3 a.m., waking us up. We had to go downstairs to bang on the door to get them to shut up, both nights. On our last day, the building's electronic front-door locking system failed. We called the attendant, who was 45 minutes away at the time. We were locked out, and had to abandon the plans we had made for the evening. It is incorrect to call this a hotel or inn. There is no service of any kind. There is no front-desk, virtual or otherwise. Also, while locked out on the final day, we discovered that there was no fire escape for the second and third floors. Had we realized this sooner, we would never have stayed there. Building was unsafe for occupancy. Certainly not a legal lodging.
