This hotel is in bad need of many repairs. The room that we got had a chair that was so disgustingly dirty and broken, I couldn't believe it was there. When I spoke to the woman at the front desk, she did come up and agreed and provided us with two new chairs. This was much appreciated, but I couldn't believe that their housekeeping staff didn't already bring this to somebody's attention.

Do not stay here

• Water damage and disrepair everywhere. • We rented rooms with pull out sofas only to find notes on the pull out sofas that we would be charged $100 fine if we used them. • We booked two rooms on hotels.com for one price. Got there and they told us they only had a reservation for one room, let us book as second room but upcharged us more than what we booked on hotels.com • Booked this hotel because website said it had a pool. Got there and pool is closed. It was full of old mattresses. • Breakfast was from 6a - 9a, and they ran out of food by 8a. No fresh fruit, limited choices, very disappointing.

Clean, Safe, and Stale

It was totally clean and generally comfortable , but the blankets were thin that I slept in my sleeping bag that I had (luckily) stashed in my vehicle. The breakfast was stale. The price was fair for the quality of the space. I recommend Mornin Sunshine for breakfast.

Poor check in experience.

Check in process was terrible. No one was at the counter, and there was a sign that said "assisting a guest, will return soon." After waiting 10 minutes, we noticed we could bear snoring coming from the back room. We tried calling the hotel and office, and tried knocking to get attention. In the end, we had to go outside and knock on what looked like a break room window, where the front desk attendant was asleep.

Budget Hotel , it is what it is

This is a budget hotel. We have stayed twice both in the winter which is their off season. It's kind of the only true option when we visit family. The rooms aren't dirty, but they could use attention. Lack of winter staff is a big factor. I suggest bringing your own pillows if you can. the hotels are terrible

Wonderful stay! In fact, we traveled to Deadwood, SD from Hot Springs, SD thinking we would stay a night there, but decided to go back to Hot Springs, SD because it was so wonderful there. The USA Hotel is very accommodating and the staff is very friendly.

Hotel is pet freindly abd charge a nominal fee which is nice. They had snow and ice but never had anyone clear the parking lot or sidewalks. I fell in the parking lot that is why some stars were lower.

Curtains in room were filthy. Pillows had an odor. Blow dryer did not work. Staff was very nice. Breakfast was pretty giod.

Run down

I stayed in this Hotel when it first opened. It was clean and comfortable. The hotel now looks run down and feels dirty. My room was dirty. One bed was clean but the other bed had several pieces of hair on the pillow. The bed looked like it had been slept in and had hair and other particles in the sheets. One of the bathroom lights cover was broken and the halogen light above the sink was flickering. The tub made a horrible screeching sound when on. And the heat was hard to regulate. The person at the front desk did apologize and change the bedding on the bed that looked dirty. Breakfast in the morning was completely out by 7am. The same front desk person was starting to heat up more but it took longer than we had to wait. Overall, I wont choose to stay here again. It went from an amazing experience 10 years ago to a bad one.
